What I find to be interesting is the interest generated by this match. The record breaking sellout. Some Husker fan rationalized it's because hawaii is a traditional powerhouse. I don't buy this. Hawaii has been mediocre the past several years. No one expects it to transform into super power overnight for the Nebraska match. What? Some Wahine fan calling Hawaii a mediocre team the last few years. Something's wrong I thought all of the Wahine fans think that Hawaii is just the greatest team to ever play every year. This person needs to be banned from being a Wahine fan! It's so funny! You are showing nervousnous, aren't you? Trying to build up Hawaii in case Nebraska gets upset! It's so funny because it was people like you who has been making fun of hawaii the past few years. Hawaii is definitely not the powerhouse of yore. You seem to be preparing to eat your crow.

Pineapple, after you explain to us what an "Achlleus heal" is, than you could tell us what Nebraska's is. Sorry, I should have said "Achilles tendon." If you still don't know, look it up in the Internet.

The Coliseum only has a capacity of 4,030? If the SSC were that small, we'd sell out everynight! ;D Friday night's match against KU at the coliseum will be the coliseum's 100th consecutive sell out as will the remaining matches be a sell out this year so what's the point. The point is there's nothing much else to do there.

Is anyone in the know regarding Hawaii's travel schedule for this week? Just curious when they're arriving in Lincoln and what their plans are if they're going to be there for a couple days. I could be wrong but I thought Cook mentioned on the post-Missouri show that Hawaii would be coming in on Saturday and be able to practice in Devaney that day and then again the on Sunday. I don't think Nebraska will be able to practice there until Sunday so Hawaii will actually get more practice time in the facility than Nebraska will. That's kind of a switch for the home team

Hawaii will also be much more rested.
I'm sure that's been mentioned, but I wanted to contribute to this thread without pointing out what a doofus BinK is. How'd I do?

Whose being nervous? Not I! You're the one making comments about Hawaii being mediocre. I on the other hand have said nothing about NU being mediocre or making excuses why NU lost if they would happen to do that.

Sorry, I should have said "Achilles tendon." If you still don't know, look it up in the Internet. I understood your first post, however, if you want to get technical, you should have said Achilles Heel (not heal), which is the mythological weakness you were alluding to. Achilles tendon is an anatomical reference.

And if you _really_ wanted to look smart, you should have specified which "Achilles' heel" because one was just fine. There was just the one that didn't get dipped in the Styx.

Remember how the mediocre Wahine simply ran all over the great Texas team two years ago? The team that was supposed to give nebraska a run for the money? This match may still be fresh in Huskers fans' memory. Hawaii could very shock the country by pulling out the biggest upset in VB this year. This could very well be forthcoming. A mediocre Wahine that was ranked and seeded in the top 10? Victoria Prince, Houston, Hittle, Mason, Kanoe mediocre? Texas great? Streaky is more like it, and they didn't just give Nebraska a run, they won at home. Inconsistent Acevedo/Christian on the outside, Pao a frosh on the right...Texas was not great. Strange choices to illustrate your point, but work it out. I suppose you can say "ran all over," Texas in system killed the Wahine in game 1. Out of system, they had no chance. Reacting = I'm succeeding in getting your goat, er, ah, cow.
