True: I assume IdahoDad looked at the NCAA stats for his initial list.
I'm guessing she had a good week.

The only Washington player on the actual teams is Hagglund.... You missed Morrison all together. Anyone that thinks Morrison won't be a 4 time all american is kidding themselves. Depending on how the rest of the season goes, she'll be no less than second team. Swarbrick will be an All American, Mussie will be an All Americans, period.....Hagglund probably too. Sorry but the #4 team in the country wil have more than 1 All American

Fill in the blanks, suggest the ladies I missed. Suggest reasons for moving the rankings. I have tentatively ranked the girls below on teams, but they are incomplete and not-final. Christal Morrison? Angie Pressey, Tamari Miyashiro, Instead of wasting your passion by telling me how wrong it is, why don't you just post her stats?

Christal Morrison (OH)- 3.98 KPG, .293 PCT, 2.71 DPG, 0.86 BPG Stevie Mussie (OH)- 4.47 KPG, .235 PCT, 2.62 DP, Swarbrick (MB)- 2.52 KPG, .406 PCT, 1.43 BPG Miyashiro (L)- 5.66 DPG
These numbers aren't "stellar", but Washington plays a well rounded offense and get productivity from Perry and Deesing as well. But Morrison won't be denied another All American postition, she's just been far to solid in her collegiate career. and Swarbrick has the hitting percentage to be an All American (I'd take her over Rienke and Reilly any day). and Miyashiro has the defense (if a libero makes it this year) to be an All american

How much do stats actually mean here? Good players from lower ranked teams could have amazing stats playing against lesser competition. How low of a national team ranking would be considered for individual players to get all america honors?

How low of a national team ranking would be considered for individual players to get all america honors? Unfortunately, when picking AA politics is about all that matters, because the voters don't get to see all these girls play, if it were about stats, few of these girls would make the list since there are girls that play at smaller lesser known D1's that have better stats but the play against "lesser competition", so they don't get AA mention, cuz that's their fault, hence the reason why Penn state, Stanford, Nebraska, Washington dominate, and the reason there is a strong west coast bias to these teams, on this board and when the actual teams come out, the teams on this board will prob be pretty close to what you see in real life, if you don't go to a big school, play in a big conference, in the USAV program or have a big name, you have a very slim chance of making these teams, which is sad, but the truth,

I doubt that the all american list will have every penn st, stanford, and nebraska player in it. they will spread it around and a couple of these players will be left out. a first team list that has 4 players from neb, three players from, stanford, and three players from penn st is insane.
