Glass and Davis WOW their passing was top notch, never thought those two had it in them. Hope they pass just as well in the gold medal match.
Outstanding play by everyone, they have great chemistry.

I like the idea that Brazil maybe hasn't spent as much time scouting and practicing to play us as they have for other teams everyone thought would be in the Final. They certainly can't have done much studying of the rotations we're currently using.

It's almost unbelievable that in one short week we turn it around and only give up ONE ACE in the match.
KIM GLASS passes at 85% LOGAN TOM passes at 78% NICOLE DAVIS passes at 75%
Three great performances!

In the California telecast, they are starting the match in the first set at 11-11. Boo to NBC for not showing the entirety of this historic match.

Geez, talk about preparation meeting opportunity. Given the challenges this team brought to Beijing in terms of serve-receive, and dealing with Wiz's tragedy, what a great accomplishment to be playing for gold.

www.startribune.com/sports/olympics/27219459.htmlNice article about the reaction of Lang Ping to the match. It really sounds like the team adores her. I hope her compensation included incentives for medaling, she deserves it. Wouldn't it be funny if they win the gold and she becomes a public figure in the US? Since that is what she wanted to escape in China. If I saw her at the mall, I'd run up for a photograph.

You would _think_ they could show the entire match when it's taped. It was frustrating to have the teams go to a time out, stay with them for about 30 seconds, and then go to 2-3 minutes of commercials. The good news was that USA usually won points when the telecast was away. But still frustrating. GO USA! GO BERG!
