Which teams are going to be in top 10? Who will fall off the list from last year?

I would like to think that Cal will be in the top 10. We have a houseful of talent coming in with tryouts this week. If even part of the frosh class pans out this year and in the future, things could be very nice.
btw: The all day offseason California Classic large tourney is set for Nov. 15. PM me for info.

Can someone help out on an eligibility issue? Tried to decipher the info on NIRSA site but it's not specific enough.
Regarding the number of years a player is eligible to play club volleyball, I believe it is six consecutive years from the first year of playing club. Is that correct? Or is it related to the first year a player enrolls in college?
Also, if a player has played another varsity sport (not volleyball) but has never played club volleyball (or any volleyball for that matter) does that affect the overall eligibility or years of eligibility?
Here's an example case study (Not actual): A former varsity basketball player quits varsity basketball after two years and drops out of school for personal reasons. This player is out of school for two years and then re-enrolls to finish up degree without scholarship or affiliation with BBall team. Player has developed an interest in volleyball due to Olympics and decides to try out for the school's club team. What is the interpretation on eligibility?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Vegas is March 20-21st. In the east James Madison lost no full time players and im pretty sure Va Tech also did not lose anyone. JMU was the only team to take Lakeland to three on the final day of nationals, losing 15-13, so I know they are coming out looking to prove something about the east this year.

If someone on this board knows the key organizers of NIRSA men's volleyball let me know in a PM. I am willing to offer up a score reporting function (including the scoreboard) for NIRSA matches. It would be a separate database and scoreboard and input would depend on either the tournament host or the individual teams to input the scores into the special entry page. Once they are input the scores would show up on the NIRSA scoreboard.
I have had a few inquiries about it in the past so I thought I would toss it out. If there isn't that much interest, I won't bother to build the database and NIRSA scoreboard feature. My NIRSA experience is that some teams would love the exposure and others could care less about it.

Lookout for the University at Buffalo. No respect last season and they lumped up on some coast teams. Returning nearly everyone and picking up a couple of Mercyhurst cast offs. They are going to surprise teams especially if they are overlooked again.

Eligibility - As I understand it.... NIRSA says the first year you appear on any vball roster, club or NCAA or NAIA, is year 1. you have 6 consecutive years you can play. If you choose not to play any of those years, it still counts as part of the 6. If vb player has played another sport, it does not factor in. Whatever year you choose to enroll in college does not factor in. The only relevant date is the first year you appear on a roster.
There are procedures for a waiver if you were on a roster for less than 3 weeks I think.
Specific cases should be run thru NIRSA if you have questions on anything that might be out of the ordinary. Email nick@nirsa.org Nick Todorovich will get back to you.

last I heard, martin was living in Chicago, playing in probably the best men's indoor league in the city at Shiel (chicago folks know what Shiel is about)
