I thought the only proof they eventually got was that several convicted felons had voted for Rossi. Five votes were tossed out because they were proven to have been cast by felons AND the felons in question testified as to how they had voted. Four had voted for Rossi and one had voted for Bennet (the Libertarian). So the margin between Gregoire and Rossi of 129 actually increased to 133 as an outcome of Rossi's lawsuit.

Coleman was seen in a 7-11 owned by Abdul Baari Masud over in St Cloud I'm thinking there might be a terrorist connection here.

Is this the same Abdul Baari Masud who is an Elder in the St. Cloud Baptist Church?

Whats even more funny//or sad...
A judge let a convicted heroin dealer out so he could vote for OBAMA/Franken.. When the dealer was set to re appear for sentencing..
POOF...GONE..
Voter fraud...
Voter ID card...no one convicted of a felony...behind in TAXES,,child support...should be able to vote...
But DEMOCRATS NEED THAT SCUM VOTE to win.

Back up to 215 when recount began, but now it's 173.
Then there's the challenged ballots and the absentee ballots being disputed. Coleman's camp has challenged more ballots than Franken's, so far.
I hope this comes down to my vote.

I never venture down here lest I run into GoGopher's rants. But yet, like a train wreck, here I am, because I saw the Al Franken thread pop up. I scrolled slowly to avoid his posts, but accidentally caught a few. Go to www.fivethirtyeight.com and get Nate Silver's scientific take on the race. It might take some scrolling down the page. Ever see Franken draw the 50 states? And does GGB even follow volleyball? I never see any volleyball posts, and yet Minnesota gets discussed all the time.

Now 163, with over 400 challenged (248 by Coleman and 175 by Franken). What I don't know is if those challenged ballots are still in the count.

That's what I thought, but doesn't that mean that Franken has picked up 73 additional votes in the recount?

Who knows what's going on. I guess Minnesota got it's act together and wrote "voter intent" into their election laws. That's what got Florida in such a mess, since they didn't have any recount standards like Minnesota or California (there are specific rules for judging ballots).
I remember back in the unofficial Florida recount done by several newspapers, there were different scenarios depending on what rules were in place. One was statewide with "voter intent" rules similar to Minnesota. They had many overvotes where someone had marked a ballot for one candidate and additionally marked the write-in spot with the name of the same candidate. I'm not sure how that would have gone down in Minnesota. I thought they were using optical scan ballots with most counties having scanners at the polling place to check for overvotes (maybe undervotes too?) and the option to correct a ballot if such a discrepancy is seen.
