Turk...please tell me you are joking. Are you suggesting that an AD is going to drop a program because of a post here where 6 people are watching? I am surprised you 1) believe an AD would read this and 2) that a random post would influence his opinion. I seriously doubt it. Are you part of Furgeson's thought control police? The ...well let's spin it this way and see what happens?
Seriously, get real. I agree with notsocal that the SC staff gets another year or two. But, based upon how inept they seem to be, and how predictable, I forecast that nothing will change and they won't make it. Sorry, but that's my prediction.

anyone else ever notice, when "30" makes one of his "intelligent" posts & then gets ripped by guys on the board with real knowledge, that he just disappears from that thread like a can of whoop-ass was opened on him? lol False.. Those who disagree with me are very predictable and their arguments are usually as follows. "Ferguson can't coach"... "Players haven't gotten better" Very few here have "real knowledge".. They don't even watch the games and are attemping to educate someone who does watch, at least, the home games..

Ferguson has a better chance of winning a tittle the next two years then getting fired..

Those who disagree with me are very predictable and their arguments are usually as follows. "Ferguson can't coach";... "Players haven't gotten better" Very few here have "real knowledge";.. They don't even watch the games and are attemping to educate someone who does watch, at least, the home games.. ROTFLMAO, etc... and similar such cyber acronyms to describe one who can't believe how funny what he just read is. You have absolutely no idea how funny (in a completely idiotic fashion) what you just wrote is, do you? Of course the responses are predictable. It's kind of like these (and I'm assuming you might be just the person to relate to them well.) [/b] people call him stupid for doing it. 2) A person tries to feed a wild bear and gets mauled and predictably people call him stupid for doing it. 3) A person with a mancrush defends endlessly someone who is universally believed to be a below average volleyball coach and predictably people call him stupid for doing it.[/ul] Yes 30, I really think you're on to something. When a school with great recruiting abilities underachieves for a sustained period of time while other schools such as UCI, CSUN, and Pepperdine thrive because of great coaching, it is predictable that people will question the caliber of the coach at said under-achieving school. I really think this might be a breakthrough. It's very much like what happened to Steve Lavin at UCLA. Great recruits, ameable personal, complete and utter failure as a coach. Heck, even their backdoor entrance into their head coaching slot is similar. So check out my amazing prognostication skills at work: I think that it's predictable that you will resort to a personal insult in your response. I think that it's predicatble that you will again say "Everyone else is wrong, I go to some games, blah blah blah..." I also predict that you will again not get it that Ferguson is just not a very smart coach and that many of us who have played and/or coached see this. It's really not that hard to see unless you have burgundy and yellow glasses on. Now have it Nostradames!

Volleyone- read the post again. I never said that an AD would read, listen, or make a decision based upon what 3 knuckleheads write on a message board. The subject is just one of those that no fan/player/coach ever really talks about.
30 is right. USC has a better chance of winning the natty than losing its coaches. The funny thing is when they do when, the same knuckleheads will say things like: "That's what supposed to happen there." or "Everybody else finally decided to go to study hall and USC snuck up on one.".

cheesburger...another brilliant post. Turk, I hope you are right, but I wouldn't bank on it from what I have observed and heard. Making adjustments, being flexible and smart are required to win consistently, regardless of how much talent is available or on the court. I simply have not seen those skills. Maybe they can be learned, and I hope that Bill survives. I just don't think he is at the calibur of a school like SC. Frankly, it's too bad.
