IRVING, Texas - Sophomore Tyler Henderson of Tulsa has been awarded Conference USA Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, while UTEP junior Stephanie Figueroa picks up her second Defensive Player of the Week accolade in the past three weeks. Sharing Setter of the Week honors is Houston's Amber Brooks and Kelli Becerra of SMU.
Henderson averaged 7.91 kills and 8.59 points per set, and hit .428 in Tulsa's three C-USA wins last week. She started the week off by establishing an NCAA single-match record of 45 kills (9.0 k/s), in the 25-point era, at SMU Wednesday. Those 45 kills mark the ninth-most overall in NCAA history, set a Tulsa school record and tied the C-USA overall and conference only single-match record.
Figueroa anchored UTEP's defense by registering 5.57 digs per set, including a mark of 6.0 digs per set in Sunday's win over Marshall. She is recording 4.11 digs per set in 2010 including a 5.25 clip in league-only matches.
Brooks averaged 11.88 assists per set and led the team in assists in both matches played against Southern Miss. She dished out 50 in the first meeting and 45 in the final match of the weekend. Brooks had a double-double Sunday with 45 assists and 12 digs. This is her first C-USA Setter of the Week honor.
Becerra registered two double-doubles for SMU with a career-best 55 assists and 10 digs against Tulsa, followed by 36 assists and 10 digs against Memphis Sunday. For the week, she accounted for 10.08 assists per set to earn her second weekly honor of the season.

Henderson started the week by establishing an NCAA record of 45 kills (9.0 k/s) in the 25-point era. She landed that figure at SMU Wednesday where she also tallied nine digs, four blocks and a service ace, while hitting 47 percent for the match. Those 45 kills mark the ninth-most in NCAA history, set a Tulsa school record and tied the C-USA overall and conference only single-match record. Aida Antanaviciute of Saint Louis holds the league's original record against Tulane in 2004. For the week, Henderson averaged 7.91 kills and 8.59 points per set, and hit .428 in Tulsa's three C-USA wins. She totaled 87 kills and 94.5 points, and added 13 digs, eight blocks and a pair of service aces. This is Henderson's eighth career weekly honor and fourth of the season.

Figueroa guided the Miners to a sweep of Marshall over the weekend. She anchored UTEP's defense by registering 5.57 digs per set, including a mark of 6.0 digs per set in Sunday's contest. Overall the junior transfer tallied 24 digs Sunday, which was her second-best effort on the year. She opened the weekend contributing 15 digs on Saturday. Figueroa is recording 4.11 digs per set in 2010 including a 5.25 clip in league-only matches.

Brooks guided Houston to a pair of 3-1 victories over Southern Miss to extend the Cougars' winning streak to five-consecutive matches. She averaged 11.88 assists per set and led the team in assists in both matches, including 50 in the first meeting and 45 in the final match of the weekend. Brooks had a double-double Sunday with 45 assists and 12 digs. This is her first C-USA Setter of the Week honor.
KELLI BECERRA, SMU // 5-9, Jr. // Austin, Texas
Becerra registered two double-doubles for the Mustangs as SMU swept Memphis with a pair of identical 3-0 match scores and pushed league-leader Tulsa to five sets before dropping the match. She dished out a career-best 55 assists and had 10 digs against Tulsa and registered 36 assists and 10 digs in the team's final match against Memphis Sunday. For the week, she accounted for 10.08 assists per set to earn her second weekly honor of the season.
