phew! thought you were making some remark about their personal lives, which really are none of our business (unless, of course, they start running over people or some other legal situation) ...I see what you did here.

volleyball Champion, Coach Pavlik, was the Associate Head Coach with Coach Bock, not the assistant coach. Perhaps she did not get enough credit at that time, but she is getting the credit for the Juniata’s success now. Obviously, they were a great coaching team together. Lennon and McCartney were outstanding together, and both extremely talented soloists. Navy invited 3 teams to the Kristen Dickmann Tournament all that had significantly more 2013 losses on their schedules than Navy. On paper Navy should have won the tournament. Unfortunately, the consistency of play looks the same as since Bock’s first year. The only difference is the players are significantly better. This is no knock on the players that came to Navy before Coach Bock. As I said the last team to beat Army was in 2009, and every girl to put on a Navy uniform since has been totally worthy of taking the court in the Patriot League. A great coach can take good players, and turn them into great performers. Coach Bock is a good recruiter. Navy has been getting VERY good players for several years, but the coaching decisions are just weird. He has cut so many outstanding players it is ridiculous. After three matches this weekend, Navy already has 13 ball handling errors, 22 service errors and 72 attack errors. Running a 6-2 offense, the setters had 8 ball handling errors in 3 matches. Alex Karika, the sophomore setter (that he cut) had 7 ball handling errors over the entire season last yesr running a 5-1 offense. So far 2014 looks like more of same, over passing, tentative play, confusion, players allowed to yell at team mates on the court. Anyone who has been around successful volleyball can see, that it is not the girls, it is the way they are being coached. No one has been around more successful volleyball than Coach Bock, but he is blind to his own teams, players, and coaching. tomclen; Bock in the saddle again!, hahahah good one! Still praying for victories over Army this season – GO NAVY – BEAT ARMY
