Nobody is leaving PSU that wasnt mentioned by PSU coach in a recent article. No breaking news. That leaves just Dorton and Longo....unless I missed another article more recent. The announced transfer coming up is an OH, not a libero, according to some UH inside info. That means Dorton could be changing her mind if no one else is leaving PSU.

This is the only hint I will give... the transfer is from China's Guangdong Province and trained under legendary Chinese Coach, Hu Jin.

Ha! ;D I am sure that most people (who have been registered members of VT for awhile) know that I am just having a little fun with this speculation thread. People are so impatient.

So, I'm thinking this transfer has not been announced on VT yet either. But, if Longo is coming to UH as well, that would be great. She would be a great get, for sure. And still hoping FF gets eligible, but with all this going on, maybe Shoji knows something and is planning without her at this point. But who knows...time for me to just be patient. BIK, it's hard to be patient, ya know? But I'll try...and I'll just speculate on wonder in silence...

west of the Rockies would mean Pac 12, WCC or WAC. Anyone know of anyone who is leaving the team in these conferences?
Of course Halli Amaro's name was thrown around because she was teammates with Jane Croson and Emily Hartong but someone mentioned that she would more likely enrolled at a school near home.
I really don't have any clue. It would have to be some player who likely would get a release from the previous school. I don't see any coach releasing any of their starters to leave to play for UH. I was thinking maybe a starter from NMSU/Utah State might want to play for UH since the WAC will suck big time next season but I doubt Jordan or DuBose would likely grant a release to any of the starters.
I also doubt Dave Shoji would award a scholie to any benchwarmers from other schools. He is not that desperate. If he was to give out a scholie, it has to be someone that could help the team immediately.

halli amaro is staying at arizona and if she ever did decide to transfer in the next year, i'd imagine it would be to UCLA.

The good times will outnumber bad Though sometimes you shall fall It's at that time that you should seek The strength of the castle wall. For no matter the path you choose to take No matter the strength of tides You need only look inside your heart For that's where the castle resides. ;D Just thinking out loud!

Don't forget the Big Sky, but I can't think of anyone good enough to start for Hawaii in that conference either. The only player in the WAC good enough to start for Hawaii is Meredith Hays at NMSU IMO, and she's not going anywhere. I have no clue either. This really has been a very interesting offseason for Hawaii, with the Hewitt speculation if she was returning, and all the stuff about if FF will get eligible, and now these transfers. west of the Rockies would mean Pac 12, WCC or WAC. So much unknown...you can even add Adolpho being allowed to play VB with the new BB coach...that is still unknown too. The only thing we know for sure with all that has been going on is that Britt will not be returning. I also trust mantooth...I think Longo is coming to UH too

What about Tabi Love? Probably not. I doubt she would leave a national championship team, however, wasn't Hawaii one of her top choices before she chose MN? Not sure what the rules are about a 2nd transfer though.
