But she also tweeted "All the way to Texas". Though she did it on April 1. [ bit.ly/HmwR9k ]

[ bit.ly/HmwR9k ] But the 2 schools worth looking into have the following scenario to deal with: UTA- No money, most likely on the bench TAMU- No money but most likely will play While the Wahine have money and she will play... Looks like the best choice is Hawaii ;D

If it is Kastl, wouldn't she only have 1 year to play for Hawaii considering she'll be a Sr. this upcoming season?
Tuioti-Mariner would seem like the more likely candidate, since she'll have 2 or 3 years to play.

What a better environment to play in if it`s her last year. She`s transferring just so she can get that Aloha send off with all the flowers and such. All kidding aside though, it would be one of the best places to play because our fan support and the great atmosphere. Hopefully she`ll have more than a year to play..

m, there are only three scholies remaining, two for one year and one for four years. Both one year ones must be made available for incoming recruits Higgins & Taylor. The four year is most likey reserved for FF. So Shoji is looking for seniors with a year of eligibility.

I realize it is she that is taking her chances here and not Hawaii. Meaning, she is giving up what seems to me to be a starting spot on ASU's team to play for a team that she doesn't know if she'll start or not. But I am curious to know why she left ASU her final year to play at another school.

Kastl was a starter at ASU who's three year record 15-43 Pac 12, 35-57 overall, didn't qualify for post season. Her stats for 2011, 1331 att, 424 k, 217 e, .156 pct. . Don't know if there were others interested in UH, feel that Dave is taking a chance on her also. She got her release from ASU so there is no turning back, she probably left to be on a winning program with post season possibilities. With FF's situation still in the air, she has the most experience to fill the third outside position.

Does she pass? Also, anyone think Shoji will move Hartong back to the middle because against Nebraska during the exhibition, the middles were non-existent to me

Cindy Luis says Shoji is committed to keeping Hartong on the outside. This, of course, depends on how good Kastl is, if Fonoimoana becomes eligible, how the Adolpho-Vorster-Tuaniga trio will hold up in the middle.

If Ashley comes aboard I don't think she will need to pass. I think Jane, Emily Hartong and Emily Maeda will be the passers. I'm not sure if Ashley is a right or left side hitter but Dave will probably set the lineup where the all the OHs will take turns hitting both from the left and the right side.

I think Jane will move to right. She is best out of the 3 on the right. Ashley and Em will stay on the left. Kastl can pass and her defense is good. If FF joins then moving Em back to the middle makes the most sense...

I was preaching the 6-2 and everyone told me there is NO WAY dave will EVER run a 6-2.
