Crazy right??? Heard all ten players that left pretty much felt the same about the new husband and wife team Head Coach Jolene Shepardson and her husband Aaron Shepardson came to Cal State Bakersfield in 2011 in hopes of turning around the program and with some pretty good players coming on board in 2011 they seem to have driven them all away!!! Heard there was some serious coaching issues and some potential NCAA violations that are being looked into, very sad!!! Heard they are also trying to hold a few players hostage by not releasing them! Horrible!
If that's not a Red Flag to the Athletic Director there at CSUB I don't know what is!!

Judging from the number of exclamation points, I'd have to say you are/were one of the players.

BTW,
Bakersfield is bringing in 10 new players this fall according to the signing posted on the web site.
sounds like the coaches needed to make room for the new players anyway.

Yep 10 new recruits coming in cause they lost 10 from last season, feel sorry the new recruits who were probably told many things to get them in but will discover something totally different when they get there like being in a conference or going to be in a conference! Not happening!

You do realize that it is not against gramatical law to use periods, correct? If they are losing 10 players, that just means there is 10 roster spots available. Guess we'll have to wait and see as to what really is happening, as opposed to a scorned player/relative. ned3asst, 10 players leaving a program at once doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out there must be some serious problems there and I didn't realize ned3asst this is a gramactical test, hahaha!!! Not scorned, live and learn.

OK, Bakersfield is a mess. Add it to the list with Loyola (IL), Arkansas State...

How often does this kind of "house cleaning" actually work for a coach? It didn't work at Washington State, with the head coach with the broom also getting the boot not much later. Even if they hold on, it can hurt in recruiting, except with those without other choices.

Just don't understand why Bakersfield would of brought in some inexperienced assistant coaches who have never ran a program when you are trying to build a strong program, big mistake for them, not to mention husband and wife teams are not usually good.

Did you think they were going to get Russ Rose to take that job?

Not saying anything about CSUB but that was just a blanket statement that does not come close to the truth...
