Alyse would be nice but Hawaii has really never landed a blue chipper...and she is a blue chipper. Hawaii has a great class coming in next year with Higgins, Taylor, and Passi. Kalei is leading up a nice class for 2014....we'll see who else is in that class. Didn't Wong also bring in Jane?

Sealy doesn't "love" tall hitters. When he came to UCLA, Love and Kidder were already there. The 2 outside hitters he has coming in for 2014 are both 6'1" Kidder was already there when Sealy got the HC job while Love came to UCLA in Sealy's second year. I thought Sealy only recruits tall OH too but he recruited Duke Ezeji who is only 5-10 though she left after 1 year. Frankie Shebby's height was listed differently. Most had her at 5-11 or 6-0, one even had her at 6-2. I believe the former

Well UCLA is thin on the outside right now but I doubt that'll last long. Sealy loves tall hitters, I just don't see her playing as an outside there. And USC, well no hitter under 6 ft., no matter how athletic she may be, is going to be an outside with Mick's offense. Sealy doesn't "love" tall hitters. It's no secret that he likes running a faster offense, which is why Ford would fit in well over there. Again, I don't think her game will translate well to USC's style of play. Lauren Gillis is going there too, and she's almost a carbon copy of Ford. Don't see why Mick needs 2 of them, especially since I don't think Gillis is going to get much playing time either. Sealy does love Tall hitters. Last year Lowe was playing front row for Reeves when, IMO, she should've been a 6 rotation player. I agree that Ford would fit in well with the fast offense, but I still don't think she would get much court time as an OH at UCLA. To succeed in USC's offense you have to be big and powerful, which Alyse is not.

The obvious answer is for Alyse to go to Oregon.

Last time though. Lowe played front row for Reeves because Reeves was not consistent enough as an opposite (and Lowe was just better at times, to be honest). Who would challenge Ford for a starting spot at UCLA? Lawless will most likely be their O1 for the next 4 years but other than that, none of the current or incoming OH are better than Ford. I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THE USC THING!

She is, however, an awesome talent.

Scott Wong is recruiting for his Sand team, will recruit for the 2014 Indoor team after that. Which will be after the 2013 Indoor Volleyball Season is over. All I can say is, do not expect much from the Wahine Indoor Volleyball Team in 2014, as long as Scott Wong is in charge of recruiting. I foresee a downward trend in Wahine Volleyball after this coming year.

I am also glad about the new recruit. Emily Maglio. She seems like a really good offensive weapon in the middle and she is a really great blocker! AND THE VIDEO I SAW WERE FROM LAST YEAR! So she must of gotten better and will keep on getting better! She is 6'2 and I know she will keep on getting better! I hope she commits to Hawaii at the end!

Maybe you should apply for Scott Wong's position if you feel you can do a better job!
