All you need to watch ESPN3 from Comcast is a userid and password for comcast.com (which is where every Comcast cable or Internet customer can view or manage their bills). If you already have Comcast internet, it's the same userid and password as your default email account... you don't need to re-register or call them. If you only have Comcast cable, not Comcast Internet, but don't yet have a userid and password for comcast.com, you can go to that site (bill in hand) and click Register, or call (800)COMCAST to get one (obviously, you have to have somebody's Internet or you can't watch). You should probably log in to comcast.com to test it (a good idea in any case... and you can change your bill to Internet delivery, set up automatic payments, etc.).
Once you have that userid and password, go to xfinity.com (which redirects to xfinity.comcast.net) and log in (if it says you aren't). Once you've logged in, then go to WatchESPN.com (if you have Comcast cable with ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU on your cable service) or ESPN3.com (if you don't). When you click on an event stream, it will read your login cookie (from your browser's cookie stash) and let you view the event.

A number of questions about blackouts on Saturday (and next week) are already answered in the first post of this thread. To watch all but one of the last seven matches (the regional finals, the second national semi-final and the national final) live, you need to (a) have service from a WatchESPN provider (there aren't too many) and (b) have the corresponding channel on your cable service (e.g., if the match is on ESPNU but you don't have ESPNU, you can't watch). The first national semi-final is not blacked out anywhere in the USA, so you can watch that on ESPN3. In Hawai'i, some of the other matches may also not be blacked out on ESPN3.
If you can't get to a TV or sports bar with the correct network (or don't have it on your cable), you can (a) watch a pirate stream (the links will be posted on the match thread(s), as they'll be different for each match) or (b) play back the match from the ESPN3 archive (after it has completed).
