that rule has changed now every team can use 3 foreigners in dom league, as for who will play i guess hitters ( both opps and ohs ) have higher chance. it was same for very long time don't see that changing unless injury happens. mbs and setters are sec choice when limit is applied. If we say that Kim is pretty much irreplaceable that leaves two spots for three foreigners to fight for not a bad chance i say Not a bad chance at all. All you have to do is beat out Montano as Opp, or Lucia Bosetti as a receiver-attacker. Easy as pie! I think that's the problem, at least Glass got to play European competition--I don't think Richards will be making it there either because it's the depth chart, and not foreigner restrictions, at issue, unless she pulls out some Nomi Malone realness. well if she wants to be a 'starter' for Us team she must beat one of those two. i am not saying it is easy but being part of us team requiers you to be on top level anyway so it is nice challenge for Kristin i think. Fb is perfect team for her lots of challenge always trying to be champion in any tournament they enter and great opponents also . and to say the truth 'easy' doesn't bring best of someone anyway so i think it will be great experience for her

You misunderstood me. I absolutely don't think Richards will beat out Kim, Montano, or Bosetti. They are leagues ahead of her. However, I think that she might benefit from this experience simply by practicing alongside them. Maybe it will force her to raise her level of play (or maybe they'll cut her from the team halfway through the season). Who knows? Time will tell.

No, you are not. I would love to know where your information is coming from that made you believe you were. To rustyroosterroot - What is your guess on what Jordan signed for? I think it would have taken a substantial offer for Jordan to leave Kazan. I believe she might have been the second highest paid player behind Gamova. Jordan was leaving Kazan regardless. I know what she's making and it's commensurate with being considered a top 10 player (all positions) in the world. You can ballpark it from there. I'm not trying to be purposefully coy, but I don't think it's my place to give the exact figure.

Haley Jacob has signed a three year contact with Rabita Baku...
Hmm... This team has many players, I wonder if some of the others have been cut...

Morgan Broekhuis has signed with Telecom Baku. She is the lefty that played for Nebraska, right?

Morgan Broekhuis has signed with Telecom Baku. She is the lefty that played for Nebraska, right? Sometimes, she did. That's cold. She's a nice girl who was a good college player but didn't take S&C serious enough. She's a "what if" player. Had she been willing to put on the appropriate muscle for her frame (which also would've required near-gluttonous eating which she wasn't willing to do), she could've been an elite player. A part of me wants her to finally flip that switch in her brain and maximize her potential even if it won't be for the Huskers.

Yes, you are correct.
Plus, I believe Jenna Huggland and a couple others U.S members signed with Rabita Baku, but will be loaned out to Igtisadchi. One of those clubs. Ha.

She was always going to be behind Castillo as the starting libero at Rabita.

If Kay becomes our libero in Rio, she needs to play, not sit on the bench.
