Does anyone know how Illinois will look this year or what they should be like? They beat us last year at home and then didn't even make the tournament because the B1G was so stacked with great teams. I wonder about this year. Just asking if Texas should take them in IL.

Well, heck they beat us on our home court. I do believe thought Texas should win that tournamnet pretty easily. Good luck to the teams though!!

Your redshirts will be Dalton and Baker. Interesting. Dalton wants to play & I believe she's been cleared to play. Since Texas is not recruiting a setter for 2014, why would you want two sophomore setters and possibly a freshman setter in 2015?

Not sure either about 2 2016 Liberos...though in previous posts one of the two was discussed as a misprint and could be a setter. Barring injury...I see McCoy challenging for the starting position right away and keeping it for 4yrs.

Yes that was Chi, she is very good offensively in front or on the slide.

saying Chiaka (Chi?), touches 10'5 is selling her short. From my knowledge she touches 10'7. Also be surprised to see her all across the front row. Her athleticism is too powerful to be kept off that front row. And from watching at Junior Nationals last month, her finesse in her game has definitely improved.

Bell, McCage, Ogbogu, Hattis??? Texas has so much depth in these positions!! You could field a team of Texas bench players that could compete in any conference. It's an exciting time to be a Longhorn.

According to an inside source it will be Dalton and Baker but in practice Nicole is setting a bit and Tiffany is playing a little too. The word is they are redshirting. Dalton is not only a setter as a matter of fact, if she was healthy she was to move into Sha's spot, that's why he used her in back row a ton last season, he was priming her for the OPP role. With injury he has to make other choices. We shall see though!
