Does anyone know what happened to her these days? Why do you want to know? Just wondering, 'cause the volleyball phase of her life has ended, so whatever she does next isn't really a concern here, right? It is not uncommon for players to update their life circumstances to their fan base. Wisconsin's 10 year reunion of our 2013 Championship game appearance. They provided updates to what they are up to currently. The volleyball team and fans can definitely be a family atmosphere and that doesn't automatically go away once a player graduates.

Many of us get connected to the stories that they experience as people too. For example, I really hope Jenna Gray Sydney Hilley (I am so sorry ma'am) makes it in the field of Genetics and Genomics once her professional playing career is over.

Thats only assuming ex-players want to share their lives and what they do next with everyone. But not everyone wants or like doing that. I know in the age of social media the following concept might be hard to grasp for some, but the fact is, some folks like their privacy respected and not have their private lives spill out, dissected and discussed on some forum by a bunch of strangers.

Sure, I get that. But again, thats only on the assumption ex-players want to do that. Not every ex-player want to do that.

Sure, that's fair. The great thing about social media, is that there are privacy settings so that you can control who sees what you share. But Lexi Sun has over 72,000 followers on Instagram and a public account, so that is going to come with some spotlight. You'll also see some programs who continue to be invested in the lives of their players after they graduate. Baylor just shared a post of Lauren Harrison getting engaged over the weekend. I think it's okay that people get connected to the journeys of some of their favorite players post-college.

If Sun wants to share what she does next with strangers or fans, she will find a way to do so. If not, best to respect her wishes and not butt into her life without her permission. The fact she has a social media account is not an automatic entry to her private life. It comes down always to what she prefers to discuss and with whom.

Okay so rather than griping at someone for genuinely asking, maybe a better response would be stating that she just hasn't shared that part of her life publicly. But it is not inappropriate for someone to ask considering many players and programs DO share.

I said if she doesn't feel like sharing her life after college volleyball, then that wish should be respected.

no reason for someone to dig up this thread except to be an ass. I brought it back with a genuine question as to her career progress and in no way with ill intent.

I don't think I've ever seen a volleyball player that so many people wanted to fail than Lexi Sun. I don't even get why. She transferred--but everyone else started to do the same. I don't think she could control where she was ranked in her class. She stayed out of trouble and by all accounts was a good teammate and student.
