MCVL: Yes, they are a conference. No, they do NOT have an AQ this year or next. Yes, they now fall into Pool "B", which all INDEPENDENTS are also under, when the committee is selecting the field (until the 2017 season). See below for the difference between Pool A, B and C. MCVL is currently in Pool B, with the future moving them to A or C.
Pool A bids are the automatic qualifiers from conferences with seven or more full NCAA members.
Pool B bids are awarded to independent institutions and institutions that are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification (Pool A).
Pool C is reserved for institutions from automatic-qualifier (Pool A) conferences that are not their conference’s automatic qualifier and the remaining teams in Pool B.
So while yes, you are right, they are in a conference, in the NCAA's eyes for this year and next, they are viewed as independents.

After next season, will they eliminate to pool B bids? If so, how difficult will it be for Springfield and UCSC?

Pool B will always exist. Rust, St. Joe's, Springfield, UCSC, Cal Lu will have a way in. Will likely be only one bid. Springfield and UCSC will be able to grab pool C bids as well.

Well its not close to anything resembling rational thought, but if you are a fish then I guess I should just be impressed that you could type and spell correctly.
Come to think of it, how did you type that? Laptops don't work well in the bottom of the fish tank.

If you look at the MCVL school's recruiting its going to be a battle royale next year. Not for number 1, Carthage is a shoe in. But 2-8 (out of 14) is anyone's guess. They will all beat each other.

Has MSOE picked up any recruits? Schultz had done a good job tapping the Chicago and St Louis area is one year of recruiting. Do not see any recruits listed.

1. Springfield 2. Nazareth 3. New Paltz/Stevens 4. Stevens/New Paltz 5. Juniata (they'll come back from this season hungry) 6. UC Santa Cruz 7. Carthage 8. Rutgers Newark 9. Dominican 10. Kean
I believe this is a good list of the top 10. Looking forward to seeing how these 10 move around and how much the off-season determines. Any remarks? Are we going to see any players/teams in particular sprout up and take over next year?

I think Springfield is a little to young to be the number one. But I wouldn't be surprised to see them atop the preseason polls especially because Stevens loses a lot with their graduating class. If Mahan and Nazareth can find solid support in the middle, I think this team will be a force next year... Looking at that line up all they really lost (and he has been a vital part of their success in recent years, so saying 'really' is an understatement) is Lawatsch. I would like to see how Santa Cruz recovers as well, but COY Hollenbeck has proven to do his homework on the West Coast and has brought in some great recruits in the past few years. Biggest wild cards next year would have to be Dominican and Carthage... Both programs need solid depth in order to challenge their starters... Last season these teams looked completely lost when their opponents challenged them, but also won games convincingly.. That mediocre style volleyball will never get you anywhere.

Shane Reid has been named the new Coach for MSOE.
MILWAUKEE – Shane Reid has been named the head coach for the nationally-ranked MSOE men's volleyball team, director of athletics Dan Harris announced today.
Reid has been the head varsity boys' volleyball coach at Arrowhead High School for the past three seasons, leading the Warhawks their first state tournament since 2005 in the fall. While leading the Warhawks, he also saw his team earn the 2014-15 WIAA State Sportsmanship Award and led significant fundraising efforts.
Reid will continue to coach at Arrowhead, as the high school boys' season in Wisconsin does not conflict with the collegiate schedule.
Prior to his Arrowhead appointment, Reid was the assistant varsity and head JV coach at Kettle Moraine. He also has extensive club coaching experience, leading the West Allis Lightning Boys' 18 & Under Team to a national championship at the 2012 USAV Junior Championships in the 18-Open Division. His Badger Region High Performance Boys Volleyball Team also claimed a gold medal at the International High Performance Invitational in 2011.
Reid has coached at the collegiate level, serving on the staff at Cardinal Stritch for the 2009-10 season. He help to lead his alma mater to the NAIA National Semifinals and 26 wins. He was a four-year letter winner with CSU and was a two-time team captain. He graduated from Stritch in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
Reid takes over a Raider program that was nationally-ranked for much of the season and finished ranked 14th in the country. MSOE won 17 games, after winning just four the season prior. They are expected to return all but one starter in 2016, including All-American setter Quin Krisik.
