Chicago State and North Carolina A&T play at 9am ET on 8/29. Chicago State ended last season with a Pablo of 306 and an RPI of 318. NC A&T had 319 Pablo and 314 RPI. That's a doozy of a matchup to open the season.

Ok, I'll bite. Give me a list of potential upsets on the 29tth between two ranked teams or a ranked team playing a decent opponent on the road? Not calling upsets, but IMO the most interesting matches of opening day: FSU @ Nebraska Iowa St. v. Stanford LBSU @ Illinois Ohio St. @ Oregon Wichita @ Kentucky San Diego v LSU San Diego @ Purdue If I had to choose an upset, I'd be stuck between OSU and LSU on this list.

LSU might be the better team this year. Oregon is replacing some pieces so I understand the question marks. That said, the way they're looking Ducks are going to be better than most expect. The sophomores made substantial improvements in the offseason and the freshmen are coming in primed and ready.

First day of competition is August 29th, but which match will be the very first one? I have South Florida @ No. 8 Purdue at 10:00 AM ET. As for D-1 Oklahoma plays Idaho, Friday Aug. 29 also at ten a.m. EDT in Gainesville Active Ankle Tourney.

So assuming the match doesn't last 3+ hours, a 300+ RPI team from last season (Chicago State or NC A&T) will briefly lead the country in wins and winning %. Best of luck to both.
