I really like the Beach's chances in their bracket, San Diego, UCLA and then Penn St. If their passing is on their quickness and athleticism will win for them.

Wow, a very well written article describing the career of one of the most accomplished coaches in Women's Volleyball history. And to think that many on this board, and on others, were calling for his resignation after two difficult seasons riddled with injuries and absences from the NCAA tournament. Despite the lack of funding, a mid major moniker, and the total domination of the BCS resulting in the best players in the country going to the top BCS schools, coach Brian Gimmillaro has remarkably remained relevant and has returned Long Beach State to its rightful place among the elite in Women's collegiate volleyball.

Quite frankly, he would have been a lot more relevant today if he had taken one of the jobs that was offered to him.
