Geezus, Klazk... nice work. Do you actually work for Rich Kern, bvbinfo, or some fivb equivalent? If not, why not? Hey, if anyone can make this happen, don't hesitate to let me know where to send my resume.

Look on the women's side, Schumaker/Davis have come through the Q in every tourney together and failed only once NOT to win a MD match....and their in the Q. It's a little different because of some higher level partner switches on the Women's side, but that has to stink for them. I've thought there should be bigger point differentials between 9 & 13, and 13 & 17(not Main Draw). Reward teams for winning in the MD. Or somehow give a bonus for a seed upset (does tennis do that?) Agree wholeheartedly

Casebeer just posted on twitter that Jennings tore a calf muscle today.
Casebeer to play with Montgomery instead. So that should shake up the qualifier some (meaning no Montgomery/Ammerman not that Casebeer/Montgomery will be in qualifier).

Phil & Sean are now listed too. Watch for Tramblie subbing for Phil, Ratledge for Grotowski. good call, these plus Casebeer/Montgomery are now listed. They are in the Main Draw, put unseeded, and looks like they will possibly be seeded behind some of the Q teams. The Q has changed a decent amount too.

McColloch/Olson appear to have left the event? Maybe going to the NORCECA in Puerto Rico?
I know Ledoux/Pollock on the women's side are at the NORCECA. Not sure what other teams are going.

I noticed that McColloch and Olson were missing too. Did you ever get a response from BJ on the teams?? USAV communications is super sub-par.

I love that Sean will still show up and compete. I wonder why players like Casebeer and Slick didnt dump their regular partners for a chance to play with Sean

So Nielsen/Roberts lose to Araiza / Brunsting, bad loss even though Araiza seems to be playing well this year.
Our favorite #4 seed goes down to Alvarez / Bohls, I saw Alvarez play in the St. Pete Q and thought he was only a good AA player. Araiza / Brunsting will have a shot to get in to the MD.
Biggest shame is this match: 3 Bomgren / Bomgren VS. 14 Burik / Donohue isn't to get in, bad break for the loser.

Not just the 4 seed, the undeserving 6 and 7 seeds also went down. I saw a video of Araiza playing in San Diego and that guy looked great. Any insight into why he hasnt been able to get a better partner consistently?
Bomgrens vs Burik/Donahue is a rematch of that Boatride tournament final (but pared down to 2s) Bomgrens have had a bad season after a great one last year. Other than Manhattan, where they were seeded into the Main, they havent qualified this year. Wonder how long they stay committed to playing AVP?

Wonder how long they stay committed to playing AVP? Just curious why you say that? They are still young, they knock on the door of the avp main draw every qualifier and sometimes get in, they seem to have a good balance with their careers and training to compete and family. I would hope they would stay on for few more years unless they don't enjoy playing anymore.

Their other losses were to good teams, Jake/Casey, Bates/Burik, Stev-o /Crabb, Strickland/Wachtfogel.

With smaller Main Draws, failing to "qualify" isn't as much of a determining factor when considering a good season vs. a bad season. There have been a lot of tough match ups in the qualifiers this year. Of course, it still is the deciding factor in who gets paid and who doesn't, which is a HUGE deal.
