Benny the Beaver is about the least fearsome mascot out there. But he's only the 2nd dumbest looking mascot in the state of Oregon, so he's got that going for him. Are you sure you want to get into it with Puddles?

I think this guy probably beats both beavers and ducks. One-handed (because the other one has the shield).

Looks a little squat, like he was an extra in The Wizard of Oz. Not a fan of the mascot in general - my school has an anthropomorphic bear with a beer gut - but if you gotta have one, this is the way to go. Now that's a mascot.

A girl named Ralphie?
BTW, On Sunday I was wondering why Colorado is the "Buffaloes". Isn't the plural of "buffalo" just "buffalo"?

Who weighs 1,300 pounds, can hit 25mph and takes five big dudes to (barely) control her. I like a mascot with a whiff of danger.
I believe "buffalo," "buffaloes," and "buffalos" are all acceptable plural forms.

They're playing in Wooden? So they're home, but not quite exactly home. No bus rides, at least. Even before the flooding, UCLA had been planning to play all their home matches (except the USC match) at the Wooden Center.

Can UCLA be saved from Sealy or does he have a tenured position? The previous coach was there for 43-years...
