Remember who's there now? Interesting the Associate Head Coach didn't seem to have any influence, or did she?

OMG, I really hope USC runs into UCSB later this season or in the post. You guys are really getting cocky about your team that has just cracked the top 10.

Nowhere did I say we would beat U$C, I just wanted a match. You get better by playing good teams. To this point UCSB has really not been seriously tested. We need to be, even if it's a loss.
Also remember it was U$C who cancelled and said they they didn't want to schedule another match. UCSB said they were looking to schedule something.

Well, I do hope SC schedules UCSB later in the season. Those girls like good competition. Insinuating that USC is too scared to play UCSB is ridiculous. If that were the case, SC would never have scheduled to play in the NACWAA. You can't chalk a coach's decision to not schedule a replacement match as being chicken. I think there's more that goes into it.

If you knew any history, you'd know that I was poking fun at Liz, who I got to know quite well at UCSB.

U$B if they played UCSB would get a real match - at this time they want to re-group - UCSB is on a different route they want to play the best to get better. The Gauchos are young, they will loose a few, but by the end of the season they will be ready. GO GAUCHOS

Dready, you should chill out. Stop getting all testoteromy about your girls playing the big teams. Why don't you talk to Kathy about scheduling tougher opponents before the season starts instead of whining about USC not scheduling UCSB at the very last second? I'm content w/ USC getting tested time and time again during the rest of the season. You're the one who's acting like you and your team have something to prove. So take your own advice.

Hey Cry Cry, Your Toejams are lame. Quote from the SB Newspress: "Although USC was also unable to take a scheduled trip to South Carolina, the second-ranked Trojans declined an offer to play UCSB in Los Angeles this weekend, according to a Gaucho spokesman. He added that UCSB was also unable to arrange any matches in San Diego, where a tournament will be played this weekend."
The Gauchos were willing to drive down to LA--all the Trojans had to do is roll out of their bed & play--they would have practiced at some point this weekend any way.
So spin it any way you want to, rave about past accomplishments, all the nation will hear is blah blah blah and will know that SC chose not to play respectable competition when given the chance.
Weak.
