Lol!!! I missed it! My apologies. I did seriously chuckle tho! I love the fact that tall players can cover more surface area... But as a former defensive back row player.... I prefer lots of roofing action at the net!! Lol I actually really want to see an all middle team for the gophers play in a scrimmage next year. I like to see how middles do in other areas of the game (or maybe I just find it funny) I coach Juniors (club) and if my middles are good enough to play around, they do. Makes my libero and ds's earn their spots. I call my middles my "trees" and many ARE good on defense!

Who would of thought that the players they had on this years team could do as well as they did? If I were the coach, I would have a hard time replacing any starter this year with some freshman player next year. The stars did align this year with PSU in a slump, and us playing NEB and WI at the right time, but it was really all the players playing well, collectively they are a lot better then their stats. WI just got better all year, and NEB currently looks like the best team in the B1G. Schau we say that the Gophs are no longer the Lohman in the B1G? I had to read that last sentence far too many times for it to make sense. Don't confuse my feeble mind!

The last time we had so many possibilities for punning players names, we went to the final four. Here's for a repeat.

I can't make it to the Pav Friday, does anyone know if the match will be streamed? I have a btn2go subscription but I'm not sure MN's tournament matches will be on that site.

Any suggestions on good places to park for the volleyball matches on Friday (and possibly Sat.)? Looks like there are Mens Hockey games both nights (7 pm, against Ohio State), as well as a Mens Basketball game Sat. afternoon (2 pm, against South Dakota) parking map

The stop is about two blocks from the Sports Pavilion.

For the PSU match, I had another commitment which prevented me from getting to the match at an early time. Parked near 280 in a unused lot along University, walked a block to the light rail, and took it to TCF Bank Stadium. Very nice.

Just a thought: Should one of us mention to the folks who pick the pre-match music -- and the moms who select the music for their nine-year-old dance line teams -- that "I Can't Feel My Face" is about snorting cocaine?

Na, that would be too logical and sane. We can have none of that kind of thinking in today's day and age!!!!!!

Just one of the many ways Minnesota is handing it to Wisconsin these days.
