Anyone know where Laura Bush is going? I read she was thinking about a club job even before Hebert retired. She's listed as a skills coach for the Kokoro club in St. Paul. I believe she has some friends involved in that club. www.kokorovolleyball.com/coaches

Looks like a great hire to me. Should also put to rest some other rumors about Hugh's plans.
Laura Bush's been involved with Kokoro for a while. Alfee was, too.

Oregon State was 4-16 in 2012 and 0-20 in 2013. How exactly does that qualify as "better"?

She was last at Oregon State in 2011. They had a poor season in 2012, a really poor one in 2013, and their best one since 2011 last year.
It's a total cheap shot. Worse than that, it's not even close to being accurate.

Sounds like a coach to me. I wonder how many posters on here are coaches with agendas?

Does anyone know what club team Taylor Morgan is playing for this season?

Kind of in the volleyball doldrums right now, aren't we?
I have a question for all of you, and feel free to weigh in as you wish:
If you could pick just one thing, what single aspect of the 2014 team would need to see the greatest amount of change for the 2015 team to be more successful?
My response: Attacking confidently. I truly believe that we have some outstanding attackers on this team, but they may have been covered in a shell of sorts and never really showed their mettle until very late in the 2014 season when all the pieces really started coming together. I believe that our current, now junior setters will only continue to improve, and we obviously have the cream of the crop coming in as a freshman, so improved and more consistent attacks should become a regular eventually.
Oh my lord, do I miss volleyball season. Can't wait for JO season to start to do some volunteering.

I wish it were just one thing. I'd almost want the question rephrased: What one thing was really strong in 2014? Blocking, I guess.
I think the team can be much better in 2015, but they are going to have to improve in a lot of areas.
