I was looking for the 2015 AAU 18 Open finals on YouTube. Didn't find it, but I did find this gem: an interview with ME Dodge.

Who said I didn't consider those things? Did I say she was equal to or better than any player from any other conference because of her award? No. I said she was an HM AA, which she was. Are you saying all region/HM AA isn't significant from any team? It's more than many, many players ever achieve regardless of conference. What's more, she was more proven that a freshman, regardless of conference, no matter what way you look at it. Proven against pretty inferior competition or not, just because someone is named an HM AA in one season does NOT mean they are, by definition, better than an incoming freshman. As unproven as Bates was against B1G-level competition, Kriskova was also unproven against that level. Also, you're pretty mistaken regarding the timeline of her injury/transfer. Since we seem to be losing the point here, you're misremembering that several posters thought that Bates would start in 2014. Wisconsin homers didn't think Morales would lose her spot. Several other posters did. Wisconsin homers didn't realize the extent of Kriskova's knee troubles or how that would impact her ability to compete for a spot in the lineup. Several other posters did. And again, I repeat, never said she was better. If you can show me where I said that, I'll eat all the BS you throw out there. I am a WI homer and I thought Deme would lose her starting position. You had no insight into Kriskova's knee injury, but it's nice to think you're in "the know." Regardless, I am still not saying Kriskova is better than Bates. However, even the A-10 and tourney competition VCU faced is better than most clubs Bates faced. Kriskova was putting up insane numbers against all competition. My only assertion is that is "proven," although not to the extent she would had been had she played in a major conference.

Who do you guys see as the starting line up for 2016? I know a little ahead of myself, but just wondering if Duello will really have a chance to play. I would think she is behind Gilis and Bates and I'm guessing probably behind Haggertey when she comes in.

Duello has a huge upside though - tall, great vertical, and powerful arm. The next couple years will be interesting and fun! Any of the 4 have a good shot to be starting.

Right now it seems like Haggerty is a lock for 2016 starter but that could change. Bates/gillis fight for the second spot. Haggerty would have to earn it but i think she will.

Where does Duello stand? I'm not really sure. Haggerty is a really good all round player. I see Duello either fighting for an OH spot. Maybe an OPP spot. But all the players have to prove themselves so maybe Duello can see some action. If Gillis/Bates prove to be the better all around players, I don't think Duello will see significant playing time until 2017.

Where does Duello stand? She has the upside to knock a player out of rotation....6 rotations might be a stretch, but Shef does well with talent.

Where does Duello stand? Well she is #15 and Robbins is #14 so I expect she will stand at the end of the line next to Jordan.

Regardless of where people think Haggerty should be ranked based on her completeness, I'd say it's safe to assume that Plummer, Fitzmorris, Lanier, and Stivrins will be top 5. That leaves room for one. I'd bet on that one being one of Texas' recruits or the top setter. In part, Molly's ranking will be hurt due to Meghan's and Maddie's physical limitations conveying on Molly's upside as a college player. Although, while I don't think she's an elite athlete, I do think she's a better athlete than her sisters. Gun-to-head, I'd wager Molly is ranked from 6-10 by Tawa.

If Haggerty cracks top 5 that would be good for Wisconsin. But there are A LOT of talented middles in the 2016 class. It's just a number but I'm not 100% Wisconsin really needed her but she definitely is a fantastic get. Duello may see some time but only if she turns out to be better. If not, then maybe she sees time once Krisakova graduates, assuming Krisakova lives up to expectation.

I think Orie Agbaji of Texas will be ranked higher than Molly too, maybe even Gia Milana.
