Serious question...why do you say that? You must have somebody in mind. Ill give you a hint. First name: Most common name for michigan players. Last name: The star in our galaxy that provides warmth and keeps us alive. I hear shes pretty good. I mean, only teams like everyone are after her Then I will personally reserve one of Sheff's BINGOS for Michigan Milky Way (which I will refer to her as moving forward). Semi-kidding... I saw that she most likely wants to stay West Coast.

Sorry, but Whalen will not be the #1 recruit in 2017. Serious question...why do you say that? You must have somebody in mind. Sun or Shook.

Shook is going to be ridiculous in two years. And I hope Elliot doesn't waste her talents like he did with allison (she could of been great). And I pray to God he doesn't run a 6-2 with her. I haven't seen her play, but from what ive hewrd from talking to people who have, she seems like the real deal.

I'm kinda surprised Shook is going to Texas. She has the ability to run a fast offensive, I hope he doesn't waist her talents also... including running a 6-2. Although, maybe I should be hoping for both as a Badger fan. Hilley is still training with Lindsey Berg...and I'm loving that, I hope she continues to improve.

I posted some HS stats a page or two previous. She's an OH from Eagle River, but with a lot of digs and pretty good service game. Captain for an unfancied team at Northland Pines. I know nothing else. www.maxpreps.com/athlete/madeline-%28maddie%29-smith/8dlUyjcTEeS00gAmVebEWg/default.htm

I saw this link as well, but thought it was the wrong Maddie Smith... I guess a DS can be 6'1...

I'm probably super annoying with my Hilley references, but I'm so excited about this kid. I'd love to see videos of her setting for her club since she mainly hits for high school (really all I've seen besides her setting for club as an 8th grader). The fact that she's only a sophomore... aye... she's so composed. I obviously don't want to wish away two years that we have Lauren, but it's hard not to be excited for the future. She also really looks up to Lauren who worked with her at camp, and Lauren is beyond is irreplaceable, but I think we're in good hands. Keep it up, Lindsey! On Lauren: “She is the best I’ve ever seen in my life and she is kind of a role model for me,” Hilley said. “She will graduate the year I come in but when I went to camp she coached me and she is a just a great person and player. I look up to her. I want to be like her. I don’t want to be the exact same player but I want to be like her. I just want to contribute as much to the team as I can when I get there.”

She still plays like a sophomore right now, but all the tools are there for Butler to turn her into the next great SPVB setter.
