Didn't see this posted yet but Alicia is also going to play basketball next season and has a decent shot at getting a schollie under Coach Yori! Good for her; I hope it happens for her! GO HUSKERS

I'd like to have seen some of those pickup games Ostrander was a part of.

Ostrander will add a measure of physical toughness that Connie's group could sorely use.

Yes, Alicia will be a nice addition to Husker Hoops, as top-five recruit Jess Shepard is rehabbing after season-ending knee surgery last winter.
* I always thought it would of been cool for Brooke Delano to be a 2 sport player - as the Husker Women's BB Team could of really used her, but that never came to be.

Really happy for Dan and his family. He really wanted to be a head coach in exactly this type of setting. He will do a great job, and they are really lucky to get him.

Really thankful for what Meske has done here. Congrats, and good luck with your first collegiate HC job!!

I wonder who'll be the new Husker AC? Cook likes to groom and keep things in house, but this may be an opportunity to pluck a high end recruiter or bring in some new strategic and tactical insights from outside the family.
I know the players loved Meske, so he'll be missed. Good for him though.

Dan and his wife are good people. I'm excited for them, but selfishly bummed they won't be around anymore.

In case people didn't hear, Jordan Larson-Burbach just won the World Club Championships and was named MVP of the tournament.

Extremely excited for Dan and his new role leading a very promising Augustana team. I have seen dan around town from time to time and he is the type of person who would pull your chair out for you and put the napkin on your lap. He will be missed!

I thought she would be a "good" one for sure, but she is a great one.

A question I'm sure some will consider for Jordan in the future: Does a great player automatically translate into a great coach?
