Potentially a great move. Foecke should be able to terminate with better efficiency on the right than Amber did, and Amber can bring her defensive prowess to the middle since she probably has better range than the Huskers' other middles, the Huskers become much stronger across the front court. Foecke will need to show that she's not a major drop off in defending the opposing OH. Amber was excellent in that regard. If this works, it'll mean Stivrins will redshirt in '16 because Amber will be a senior and Holman will be added to the mix at middle. No way stivrins redshirts If you don't think Amber moves to the left in 2016, it'd seem like a waste to use a year of Stivrins' eligibility as the 3rd MB behind both Amber and Briana.

I'd also argue that Amber playing left in 2016 is more likely than Foecke but you suggested that wouldn't happen.

Excited for them!! I think they will have a good season! Looking forward to see if Amber excels at MB. Also excited to see Foecke on the court.
