not accurate, they have had several of the best classes the past few years. I guess I was not clear, probably my fault. I meant to say that PSU, like every program, probably doesn't get every single recruit they want even in their best recruiting years. I know that may be hard for some to believe. Arguably, Dorothy will take the other side of this topic. PSU definitely is a bridesmaid for the 2015, 2016, and 2017 recruiting classes. Let the discussion begin. You are OUT OF YOUR MIND, that I do know. EOD For a person who lives in Carlisle, close enough, you should know better.

[b They don't need a ton next few years. That freshman class last year was huge a talented. Where are all these best players scholorships going to come from. This years juniors who will be seniors next year don't have any scholorship players. Top rated players arnt gonna come play for free when they can get scholorships at many other schools.

Going back to my comment, I do believe PSU is starting to experiment with going international and it is something we'll start to see other programs do shortly as well. I also think it is obvious their approach on passers at the moment and think that will continue as well. Their roster size is interesting to me. I'll be looking forward to seeing how many passers return. Great strategy to recruiting in my opinion when you have young players who are projected to start for some time. I could be wrong, just a perspective from the outside looking in. Passing seems to be a common problem area for schools and it seems rose knows that

RR has done a masterful job with his staff and players and the results are evident to all. I always covet players like Vansant and Sun but realize that the players often want to go to programs where they can play as freshmen. That is why I think 2018 will be another great recruiting year for the Nittany Lions. With the talent being so spread out this year I foresee many of the major teams having great seasons and injuries may play a major role in determining the outcome.

For at team that has won six of the last eight and soon seven out of nine, I can see why you are worried.

Penn State probably is a bridesmaid every year but they still are fortunate to keep winning. not accurate, they have had several of the best classes the past few years. YES they have but these two points are not mutually exclusive. You can have a best class and still be a bridesmaid on an elite top player. A summary shows which colleges have had the most #1 Senior Aces per Prepvolleyball.
Standford 6
Nebraska, PSU, Texas, & USC 2
Arizona,Florida, & Washington 1
Total (1999-2015) 17

So will Simone Lee sit another season out or will Aiyana move to the middle and Lee to the right side?

Simone Lee didn't sit out the season. Nia Reed did. Well for the majority of the season Ali played and Simone didn't. So I was just addressing if both Ali and Simone would play. Sorry. I misunderstood. Lee did play very critical rotations againstWisconsin in the NCAA Tourney, though that was the exception in the later part of the season.

Lee did play very critical rotations againstWisconsin in the NCAA Tourney, though that was the exception in the later part of the season. Yes, Lee was great in both of the Wisconsin matches last year. They could well have lost to the Badgers in the tournament without her. Remember that was the match where Carlini came down on Frantti's foot, Frantti was struggling, so Rose put in Lee and Wisconsin had no defense for her. Sheffield had his team prepared for Frantti but not Lee. Lee was one player too many for them. That is how depth wins championships. Wisconsin fans gnash their teeth about her since she's from Milwaukee. what if what if -- if she'd picked Wisconsin instead of PSU, maybe the Badgers would have beaten PSU to go to the semifinals. But fwiw I don't think they would have matched up well against Stanford anyway (Inky and Lutz would have had a field day against the Badger middles), so Stanford would have have another championship instead of PSU. (No, BYU would not have beaten Stanford either)
