I guess it's an interesting exercise to see how the "coaches" poll matches results.

How does a late season injury impact the ranking? UDub suffered from Beals' season ending injury. With Beals I think UDub would have been in the finals. Injuries should never impact rankings or seedings, it is something every team deal with.

In RPI, I figure PSU might move up to third? Fourth? haha, exactly.

Interesting to debate the final standings, but, really, isn't this the most meaningless poll of the year? I thought the first one was the most meaningless.

What did Texas do in tournament or regular season to earn a top four rank? The Big 12 was very average despite RPI hoax. Texas was ranked 6th in the latest poll, they made the National semi finals- They deserve to be in the top 4 in the final ranking. Texas didn't play BYU any better than FSU. I'm going the easy route PSU BYU Stanford WI and Field

Regardless if Texas had the easiest rout to the Final Four. They have talent at every position except for setter and libero. Chloe Collins should have set a 5-1, with Eckerman & Prieto Cerame on the left, with Bell on the Right and Neal as the Libero.

Interesting to debate the final standings, but, really, isn't this the most meaningless poll of the year? it doubles as the pre-season poll for next year

1) Penn State 2) Stanford 3) Wisconsin 4) BYU 5) Florida state
If Washington setter hadn't gotten hurt I would put them at 3 ahead of Wisconsin.

Final ranking will be a combination of pre-tournament ranking and tournament performance. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I highly doubt the injury will be figured into the rankings.

At 5-9 I think you can put FSU UNC Texas, Washington and Florida in any order. I would likely put Washington 9th, only for the Utah and Colorado losses; add the Neb loss which both Texas and FSU wins over which might make them 9th in my mind, and ILlinois 10, but this is just nit picking because there is very little that sets one of these 5 teams ahead or behind the others.

Some people are pulling picks out of their asses. This will be the top four: PSU, BYU, Stanford, Texas. Stanford may switch places with BYU but that is it, that'll be the AVCA top 4 in the final poll. Some of you are stupid.

End of the year is the most meaningless. At least with the pre season poll teams/fans have something to look forward to. This means absolutely nothing because every team but one is NOT the national champion. And that's all that matters.
