Some people are pulling picks out of their asses. This will be the top four: PSU, BYU, Stanford, Texas. Stanford may switch places with BYU but that is it, that'll be the AVCA top 4 in the final poll. Some of you are stupid. I agree with those four but in my opinion stanford 2 and byu 3

The fact that stanford was 1 pretty much all year to that point and they split against each other this year will put them at 2. Plus honestly think stanford gave psu more of fight

Texas was ranked 6th in the latest poll, they made the National semi finals- They deserve to be in the top 4 in the final ranking. Texas didn't play BYU any better than FSU. I'm going the easy route PSU BYU Stanford WI and Field I still am trying to get over FSU losing that 4th set vs. BYU in the Sweet Sixteen. FSU easily won set 3 and had huge leads in 4th set.. were up at times. 9-4, 11-6, 19-12...and the real stinger was being up 24-21 in that 4th set.. and not being able to finish.. who knows how that 5th set would have ended had FSU kept the momentum it had in that 3rd set and most of the 4th. IMO FSU played BYU the best of any other team that competed against them except for PSU.. PSU demolished them in that 3rd set with no question !! Regardless.. I would like to see FSU ranked year end in the 5-9 range.. that's a fair ranking given they beat 3 of the 4 teams that were in the Elite 8.. Swept UNC, beat FLorida 3-1 and Nebraska 3-1 as well..

I was thinking about sending you pm about this. FSU had completely turned the tide, but somehow did their usual and let it become a game again in the forth, and it cost them. They had more kills 63-62 Hitting .255 (Texas had 50 kills .162) and 12 more digs 70-58 (Texas had 54 digs) Texas lost 3-1 by 5 total points; Floria State lost by 7 total points, but gave up a 5 point run to lose. On paper the Seminoles lost the match as some said they would because of BYU's block 16-8. Texas did hold BYU to .208. Now to whine from what I could tell the BYU Arizona match was the only place where the rpi seedings was the same with an rpi seeding #16 vs #17 Absolutely my hats off to BYU. I do think that FSU is much more balanced front through back and would have given Penn State a better match perhaps even pushing it to five. All the nay sayers should just stfu, Texas lost to Oklahoma, Florida, BYU; the Seminoles lost to Duke, UNC, BYU. Duke is a far better loss by all the ranking systems and the others the same. I would put TEXAS one ahead of FSU for making it one match further, however, TEXAS is not top4! BYU is higher and Wisconsin has no bad losses (PSU(2) & Wahington) and a B1G championship; Wisky is top4.

Regardless if Texas had the easiest rout to the Final Four. They have talent at every position except for setter and libero. Chloe Collins should have set a 5-1, with Eckerman & Prieto Cerame on the left, with Bell on the Right and Neal as the Libero. They are in desperate need of passing and a second OH. They have played a 5'10" hitter there who cannot pass and is a questionable defender and terminator.

I feel they seeded it the way they wanted to; I dare anyone to show how the committee used the rpi! 16 Az seeded 11 vs 17 BYU in the 6th seed bracket. There is my gripe. But other than Stanford Texas the committee threw the rpi sheets out the window. The NCAA got a bracket in which the loudest voices had the fewest complaints, a champion and a storyline; they're happy.
