2018 Season Oregon Highlight video. There was a thread a while ago with many teams videos, but I can’t find it. I’ve probably watched this highlight video four times. Gives me all the feels. Reminds me of the great squad they had last season. They will be a very young team this coming season so not sure how far they’ll go. Me too! A lot of young talent though, glad they have the Europe trip with the entire 2019 roster to start to gel! Need to get everyone healthy and I think the upperclassmen will fit the newbies in nicely!!

This team has firepower with Kipp, Fields, and Eggleston. If the passing is there, they will be tough to beat.

Gneiting MB1 Anwusi MB2 Kipp OH1 Eggleston OH2 Fields OPP Powell S Nuneviller L Subs: Landfair OH Williams OH Phillips MB Clark MB Peterseon L/DS Hendrickson OPP/S Tuaniga S/DS Can't remember if they take 13 or 14 ... anyway I've got Kipp at OH1 even though they list her at OPP. I want Fields and Kipp in my starting lineup for obvious reasons -- FIREPOWER!

They have switched positions in the past, Mica Allison was with YNTT as a setter, but went on the roster for World Championships as an opposite.

Oregon has posted its schedule. Another long road trip somewhat like 2015 (so yikes!) but this has them more or less staying in the same area as opposed to criss-crossing the country. Still a little compact for my liking, but I understand there was trouble finding good Week 2 options. Should be a really good schedule for RPI regardless. No teams with a losing record last year - 72.3% OOC opponent pre-tourney win percentage. That's ridiculous.
Highlighted by Minnesota, @ Penn St., @ Pitt. I think Duke will be down this year, but Princeton should win the Ivy, Hofstra and St. Johns will both do very well in their conferences, and BC might win 20 games with their schedule. Not sure on UCI's outlook. Pre-tourney RPIs in parens.
Aug 30 v UCI (78) Aug 31 v BC (184) Sep 11 @ Pitt (7) Sept 13 v Minny (@psu) (4) Sept 14 @ Penn St. (12) Sept 17 @ Princeton (52) Sept 19 v St. Johns (@hofstra) (106) Sept 20 v Duke (@hofstra) (44) Sept 20 @ Hofstra (58)

There’s a 4th Duck looking to transfer? BVS appears to be missing from the trip photos. That changes things. With Nuneviller attempting to play OH, and BVS leaving, Murphy will necessarily be the libero. I still like Oregon's talent level and prospects as a team, but the early part of the season might be a bumpy ride trying to break in a new setter and libero, concurrently.
