Ahh these awards are messed up, but they got MVP right. Congrats to JL-B! Rasic and Poljak are deserving of their awards. Likewise with Gulden. I'd also give the nod to DLC for one of the OH awards.

It's kind of ironic to see Jordan and Becky Perry in the finals against each other again... (Regional Finals)

This is what Larson will be doing tonight: No, that's what she'll be doing for the next 2-3 years of her professional career. Her quote should be around $1M/year now.

Just a little thing that I notice: the Vakif girls' hair was messy and greasy, while Ecza's appearance looked more put together/pampered. Ecza was ready to go. Vakif looked like they just rolled out of bed, and were just not as present. That's just European-chic. Bed head just works over there. side note: I'd love to see Larson and Sheilla on the same team. Sheilla's pep + Larson's subdued, serious demeanor... I think there is probably a lot of respect b/w them and they'd probably compliment/balance each other nicely. I'd like to see a roster with Sheilla and Jordan, too, even though I love the way they match up against each other across the net. (I still remember how they kept going back and forth in London during that pool-play match.) And when it comes to being good friends with foreigners, she's really good at that. Her family always hosted foreign-exchange students, and her roomie and best friend in college was Croatian. I know she's still close with Gamova and Ulanova from her years in Russia, and Poljak is her partner in crime this year.

TBH I miss seeing Jordan and Gamova together on the same team. I was surprised that Kazan wouldn't match Ecza's offer, but it's refreshing to see how Ecza's better pay is paying off for all involved. If Jordan stays with Ecza, I wanna see them drop Neslihan and pick up Pavan, Jovana, or Destinee.

She could do well and wouldn't cost as much as the players mentioned...

The club could also pick up Zhu Ting as a passing opp and not let DLC pass another ball.

They should both be playing here next year, in the Superliga, though! =)

I'm not sure Murphy would be a great choice for their less-than-elite setting and bouts of out-of-system play and certainly wouldn't be worth it for the domestic league (you don't want to send Larson, DLC or Poljak to the bench). Honestly, the best move would be to pick up Gozde as a receiving opp and move De La Cruz out of passing. They can probably also replace what they're getting out of an on-the-decline Furst for quite a bit less A new setter would be ideal but that would be tough for the domestic league and there aren't really Turkish options besides Naz, and she ain't cheap.
