If you are a Fawcett fan, you probably don't want to watch this. I'm sure there's a fawcett video that makes her look amazing too.

Karch would be absolutely nuts not to find a way to get her back on the team. I forget the exact wording (there is a thread somewhere on here with an accurate reporting of it) but at the AVCA Convention Karch said something to the effect that the players in his gym need to be there for the good of the team. I don't know if the argument is over the height/tempo of her sets or the distribution of the offense or what she does with her free time, or all of the above, but it seems like Karch has set the bar at a certain level and most of the players we need have cleared it. I could be wrong but I got the sense that the door is open if she is willing to work under the same rules as everyone else. I don't know if they want her back or not, but for Karch to blow up the culture he's asked the players to create in order to give Hooker a free pass seems unfair and unlikely. Whether they should have or not, this culture and these players won the World Championship without her so I think it's on Destinee to find her way back onto the team.

I don't think set height/tempo would be an issue. Destinee has a high contact point but she is also very fast. I hope Karch and Destinee will be able to reach a compromise. I can't see either begging the other for forgiveness.

I don't know the rules that Hooker supposedly didn't follow. All I know is that Hooker is a scoring machine, and I hope that just as much reflection is given to the rules that karch has created for grown as women as is given to Hooker following them.

A coach with standards! I love this guy. Let's be real. If it was a husker that was in hookers shoes, you would be calling for karchs resignation Even as a Husker, I certainly recognize Destinee's unparalleled talent. She is easily our country's best wing spiker, so it would be a shame not to have one of our most eligible and capable players representing our country because of a conflict of egos. Imagine a South Korean team without KYK or a Dominican Republic squad without DLC. BORRRING.

If it was a husker that was in hookers shoes, you would be calling for karchs resignation You obviously do not know me very well if you think that. I absolutely hate when players get to be so great ( in their minds) that they feel they are above the rules that every other player has to live by and follow. Then their are the brown nosing, hero worshipers like you and many that have posted on this board that feel that winning and sheer talent should come before anything else including integrity. Some of your opinions are an embarrassment to what athletics was intended to teach young athletes. This is NOT ABOUT Karch's ego you complete idiots. Its about expecting every player to follow team rules. If greats like Jordan and Foluke can tow the line so can Destinee. Gees.
