Madison is a couple hours from the Iowa boarder. Very close, but I don't think anyone on VT has successfully "researched" where exactly her immediate and extended family is located.... Such an innocent group, it's for vball. Nebraska also boarders Iowa for those unfamiliar with the middle. no need to google map it.
I like Kokyo's logic!

I knew I should have picked Columbia over Yale Law for its closer proximity to major international airports like LGA and JFK. Unfortunately, we Bulldogs from the Class of '13 didn't have someone like you telling us about our airport options at other universities. Major life regret here. Lying about your credentials again? When have I ever lied about my credentials or accomplishments? PM me and look me up on Facebook.

Clearly Ebony's top tool for determining where to go will be Kayak.com.

I'll say it because I think it's worth mentioning. If nwanebu chooses Nebraska I think it says a lot about the Nebraska program and where it's going. This is a program that has a history of not appealing to minority recruits (when was the last time the program had a black person on the team?), and yet they have the potential to land two high profile minority transfers in the same year!? Not doing any race bating here, I think it's great for the program.

Do we have any idea on where she even wants to visit yet? I had some good 411 for Briana, but this time I'm drawing some BLANKS! Did hear a couple things, but nothing concrete.

I don't think its The programs fault, its just a lot of minority don't want to play in Lincoln, where the white population is 89.9 and the african american population is 3.09%. Just how demographics work really, but I'm glad they're starting to attract them, because it opens so much doors for a stories and historic program

Not doing any race bating here, I think it's great for the program. You tried this tactic when Briana was choosing between Nebraska, PSU, Washington and Wisconsin. The implication that Nebraska isn't appealing to minority recruits is insulting to iconic greats like Cepero, Nepo, and Saleaumua, our current players, Wong-Orantes and Holman, as well as recruits, Tiani Reeves and Chesney McClellan. Perhaps an even bigger deterrent to a prospect minority student in 2015 would be the very saddening and disappointing police shootings of unarmed black men (Toni Robinson in Madison, WI, and Frank Ernest Shepherd in Houston, TX) in some communities around the country.

If Texas uses their last scholarship for another OH, and denies the option of using it on a setter transfer..... I'd think that would deserve its own thread.
