I heard Mick is forbidding her from going to two programs. One of them rhymes with orange. "Nothing Rhymes with Orange" University?

Since Ebony is leaving California and won't be around to train with the National team in Anaheim, I would guess the next best thing would be to go to Wisconsin and train with the top setter in the nation that will probably be setting the national team in the near future. Why would she want to go to play with the "top" setter when she can have a better chance of winning a National Championship at PSU. Just kidding. I know PSU is not on her list.

There are restrictions on the release. I heard Mick is forbidding her from going to two programs. While I don't like to weigh in on heresay, if that is true, I would have to imagine Texas would be one of them. I do know she has a couple visits scheduled. I think you will see a decision by her in the next 2-3 weeks.

Are we really going to get to 50 with this type of lack-luster drivel??? Dear Miss Nwanebu, for the love of puppies, please put us out of our misery. Sincerely, Mick

You know she has visits scheduled. Is one of these claims problematic "hearsay" (that's the word you were looking for) and the other not? I trust that you have good sources for the claims you make. You can decide if you think I do or not.

Well that sure doesn't seem right that he can dictate where she can go. He doesn't own her. Restrictions don't involve ownership. They also don't stop a player from going somewhere. The restrictions are on whether a release is granted. That's different. Players can and sometimes still do go places without releases. Absolutely, and that has happened.

"Transfer rules in volleyball vary, but it’s rare that a player is required to sit out. Pollmiller wanted to transfer so badly that she said she would have transferred even if she had to sit out a year. Cook decides on a case-by-case basis whether he'll grant a scholarship release to a player looking to transfer. The release allows the player to transfer without penalty. For example, two years ago, Cook said he would release outside hitter Taylor Simpson to transfer to Florida State, but not Kansas State. Sometimes the transfer process can get ugly, with lawyers involved." journalstar.com/sports/huskers/volleyball/transfers-can-be-game-changers-in-college-volleyball/article_f0b9a27e-e435-58c1-bdee-031f6816cc4a.html

You can see the interest in not granting a release to transfer to a school in-conference. But she's not going to transfer to another PAC-12 school, so why would Mick put restrictions on the release? Just to be on the safe side?

I heard one of the schools she isn't allowed to transfer to is Notre Dame. Idk if it was a joke when it was said or not.

Ebony posted on Twitter that people are 'going after' her mom and former coaches? Seems like she's doing her best to take full responsibility for her own choices (how refreshing is that?), but people are blaming her mom and coaches instead.

Not "going after" as in trying to get them to sway Nwanebu's choice?
