Yes...and just like other top teams their is often discussion and intense interest in the programs positive and negative. But if Texas can't handle what the other big boys can just let us know because this crying because someone said something negative about your beloved program is getting a little old. Man Up Southie. If you are half as good as YALL claim to be then this is part of the territory. Holiday, I don't care if you say anything negative about Texas, but don't say the Longhorn fans are crying and cannot handle the negativity because the Longhorn fans fight back and defend their program. You should know this first hand, being a Nebraska fan, with the cast of characters that come on the Nebraska thread(s) and piss in your corn flakes about anything from Cook, to transfers, to player chemistry, etc., and the Nebraska fans, including me sometimes, defend the program. It's OK to throw stones, but don't complain when someone throws them your way.
If Nwanebu had not chosen Texas you would not have made any negative comments about Texas on this thread. I did not think she was going to pick Texas because I did not think she was going to get a full release, but she did and chose to stay close to home. I, myself am a Longhorn fan, but follow Nebraska and Wisconsin in the B1G and thought Nwanebu would have been a great fit at either of those teams and IMO made Nebraska the clear favorite in the B1G, or brought Wisconsin even with PSU and Neb. and realize the disappointment for two of the three programs.
Also, I was not throwing a pot shot at you in my previous post, I did win a bet for a bottle of Scotch, and honestly thanked you for getting the Longhorn fans fired up. As someone else pointed out though, as soon as Collins was brought into the discussion it was a done deal.
Here's to Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Texas making the final 4 and PSU and MTC watching! LOL
In your dreams.

What's wrong with the Chewbacca /Chaiko comment? I think It's funny. I plan on keeping it. I think she'd think it is funny too.
Contact MSNBC immediately, and if I need to release a statement to defend myself holla back.

The only thing psu is gonna be watching is one of those teams crying after they fail at getting championship at the expense of psu winning again. Lol

This is just wrong....Carpenter beat out a very good Mikinzie Moydell for the starting spot at the beginning of the season and was arguably the MVP of the Final Four and title game even though the award went to McClendon. She was light years better than Texas's setters in the semis and completely outplayed Lloyd in the title game. She did lose her starting spot as a junior, but she was beat out by Micha Hancock, who would go on to be a 3x First Team All American and AVCA Player of the Year. 100% agree with everything with the exception of beating out a "very good Moydell" I didn't see Moydell play, but she was incredibly highly touted coming out of HS and was a top 15 recruit. What happened that allowed Carp to be the starter?

What happened that allowed Carp to be the starter? Moydell just wasnt cutting it. I'm not 100% sure but i believe the combination of being homesick, pressures to fill such a huge role right away, and burnout led her back to Colorado and she no longer continued to play volleyball collegiately.

USC volleyball is on the decline; and, Mick isn't getting any younger. With Gillis and Nwanebu transferring out, it's just a matter of time before a change has to be made at the top. Elliott is doing his magic at texas again, they are going in reverse.
