Steve Hargrave - guy knows what was up. Steve Hargrave knows or knew nothing of Ebony and her family. He didnt even get where she lived right. And other of his "facts" were incorrect. Steve never even coached her. He deserves no credit or comments coming from a rival club.

He sounded like a bitter-pants to me.
And really, Austin to Dallas is quite drivable. Shorter than Madison to Twin Cities, and the Minnesota kids who come to Wisconsin say they are staying close to home. Austin to Dallas is more on par with Madison to Chicago, and Wisconsin gets tons of Chicago area kids (athletes or not).
The big difference is whether you have to get on a plane.

So what's to prevent a college coach from getting a commitment from say, Kerri Walsh-Jennings or a Misty May-Treanor about their children playing collegiate ball?
I had a friend who was 6'-2" and her husband was 6'-10". Both played in the Big Ten in volleyball & basketball and were both All-Big-Ten. Unfortunately, they decided not to have kids.

Nothing, but good judgement prevents that scenario from happening.
