Which girls are the best at there position in the 2016 class? I think most would agree Fitzmorris is the best middle but what about other positions...

Is Fitzmorris really the best middle? I haven't had a chance to watch her play in person, but based on some videos I've seen of her play, she doesn't really wow me. I feel like Stivrins is more dynamic. I guess if we're considering other dynamics, like poise and leadership potential then maybe Fitzmorris is the best.

Fitzmorris and Stivrens are different in several ways. Audriana plays six rotations and is huge out of the back row. She is very calm and puts up a HUGE block. Lauren is fiery and may be a bit quicker pin to pin. She is part of a well oiled system at AZ Storm and isn't the "go to" like Audriana at Invasion. They are both studs, but if I had to pick I would go with Fitz due to her overall game and International experience. I also think Darriell King from TAV will be right up there with a bit more grooming.

Players on USAV teams are a good place to start...
Alexis Hart (OH, 6-1, Invasion) Khalia Lanier (OH, 6-2, AZ Storm, USC) Gia Milana (OH, 6-2, Oakland Elite Volleyball, Maryland) Mia Sokolowski (OH, 6-4, Zona Volleyball Club, Florida)
Regan Pittman (MB, 6-4, KC Power, Minnesota) Lauren Stivrins (MB, 6-4, AZ Storm, Nebraska) Ronika Stone (MB, 6-2, Vision Volleyball Club, Oregon) Orie Agbaji (MB, 6-3, Club North, Texas) Audriana Fitzmorris (OPP, 6-4, Invasion VBC)
Tiffany Clark (L, 5-11, Sports Performance, Michigan) Hailey Harward (L, 5-9, Aspire Volleyball Club, Long Beach) Morgan Hentz (L, 5-9, Northern Kentucky Volleyball Club, Stanford)

These are all IMO...just the girls I have seen play. Obviously there are so many more out there that I haven't seen.
Khalia Lanier is the best OH and will be at the next level, period. Ashlynn Dunbar, Morgyn Greer, Molly Haggerty, Alexis Hart, Emily Hill, Melanie McHenry, Giovanna Milana, Lizzie Stephens, Jamie Stivers & Ronika Stone are all awesome too!
Katie Oleksak is the best setter right now. She is incredible and may be the best at the next level too, but only 5'8" or so. I also like Hunter Atherton, Ashley Brown, Madelyn Cole, Jane DeJarld, Meghan Donovan, Lexi Dorn, Mariah Evans, Jenna Gray, Norene Iosia, Makenzie Kesler, Kylie Miller, Cali Thompson, Brooke Westbeld and Jennifer Wineholt to all be flat-out great at the next level.
Plummer gets her own category. She's 6'6" and is going to be dominant at the next level as a setter/hitter combo. Not the best setter, not the best RS, but if you put them together along with her incredible blocking ability, great back row defense (for her size) and leadership, she could be the best all-around package out there!
Regan Pittman & Lauren Stivrins are the best MBs now. Those two and Darielle King will be at the next level. I think if King progresses, she will be the most dominant player (any position) in the nation by her junior season!
Give me Audriana Fitzmorris on the RS currently, with she, Willow Johnson and Jada Burse being the AA's at the next level.
Tough to call on the defensive players. There are so many good ones, it's tough to differentiate. I will go with Morgan Hentz, Kendall White and Montana Watts.

I think Norene Iosia should most definitely considered in the mix of best setters in the country. If you chose the best all around player I would give it to Kathryn Plummer.

Fitz has hit a slump.... but is still powerful and lots of upside potential, but I think her stock has decreased. I think the most improved outside hitter is Lexi Davis, she might be most improved over the year. Lanier is lights out! Also Hunter Atherton most improved for setter. Those two have really stepped up to the front of the lines in their class. Jada Burse hitting the gas pedal as well. Like to see new faces starting to emerge.

Norene has unbelievable potential, she just doesn't seem to apply it. She moves so effortlessly, particularly for a stockier frame, but seems to be a bit, how do I say this, lazy? Her defense is questionable, particularly covering tipped balls. Her hands are pure sweetness. Wish she looked like she cared though.

Shoji almost always gets the most out of his players.

How is Jackie Quade playing these days? She plays basketball as well as basketball. Wish she finally decides to go exclusive with volleyball next year. She is doing good I think, she's playing an age level up with Munciana Samuri (which is a top level club team, and with her future teammate Beth Prince). She's kinda low key hopefully she'll mature in the next year because Illinois will need her when Birks leaves.

Fitz had a great High School season and is extremely dominant. She keeps adding skills to her game.
