What class is the 6 foot 8 girl for Florida? To be honest she's not really good and doesn't show as much promise and talent as Lutz did. She is 2016 and plays for Aspire. She is pretty solid, and gets better every year. Florida's 2016 class is going to be AWESOME! And I'm a Texas fan... She's going to get better no doubt. Florida has a lot of good players in 2016. Also, Alhassan and Holston will still be playing. Not really impressed by Dagostino's choices against Stanford. She should set Alhassan more because she was getting over ajanaku and Lutz at times. A lot of potential for Florida

Florida will be SCARY in 2016 Yeah they will. But Stanford will too, with Hodson and Lutz. Plus all Stanford's 2016 recruits (hopefully fitzmorris commits soon). Man 6'6 Plummer and 6'8 lutz or 6'6 Fitzmorris. Deadly!

Nice to see someone who can replace Gilbert. 2016 is loaded for Stanford.

Probably as deadly as the class which included Carly Wopat and Rachael Williams; yet, they never reached the Final Four in their careers.

Hey everyone, ive been stalking vt for a while so i finally decided to make an account. I was just wondering with it being summer and having senior aces right around the corner, who do you think will make the top 10? 2016 looks like a really talented class I'll take a shot at a Top 10 for 2016. I've seen each of these girls play on several occasions so my guess is as educated as I could get. I am basing this guess off "Total Impact" made and projected. To clarify for all with other opinions: this is just a guess.
1. Plummer 2. Lanier 3. Stivrins 4. Fitzmorris 5. Oleksak 6. Pittman 7. Haggerty 8. Van Winden 9. Hentz 10. Miller
Others: Agbaji, Iosia, King, Hart, Burse, Milana, Stone, Fresenius, Johnson, Buckingham

Seems like a respectable list! My personal top 10 is lanier, miller, fitzmorris, pittman, stivrins, haggerty, plummer, van winden, king, and stone (not in any particular order though). Im a huge lanier fan so i hope she will be number one, but who knows. And hentz is awesome, but i dont see a libero making the top 10

Looking at Plummer and her overall game is impressive. However, what specific skill will she be doing at Stanford to help them win? Is she going to score better than Lanier or Fitzmorris if she attacks? Is she going to positively affect the offense more than Oleksak if she sets?

I have no idea about order but I think you probably have the right players for top 10! I don't think a libero will make the top 10, but everyone else I agree with!

I think Fitzmorris should be higher on the list! But other than that I agree. Hentz is awesome too. Plummer is a great all around player.

That's the number one thing. If she can develop a higher contact point, then her attacking will help Stanford out a lot in that department as well.

I think the top will look something like this.
1. Plummer 2. Stivrins 3. Miller 4. Fitzmorris 5. Lanier
Plummer is the best prospect in the class. Strivins is the top middle, and Miller is the best pure setter hence the 1, 2, 3.

Not sure how Darielle King and Ronika Stone wouldn't be Top 10 players... but I guess it depends on depth of class and this is a good one. Fitzmorris is top middle. Still think Lanier is a shoe-in for #1 - best potential point-scorer. Don't see many girls who can hit that hard and high with great shot selection. (Plus, she's more than a full year younger than her class - which bodes well for future development).
Also some big "name" (either club or college) bias - a libero isn't going to make Top 10, and some of the "Next 10" players I'm seeing here play for successful club teams, but won't be Top 25 and will end up behind some talent from lesser clubs who will be knocking on the door for Top 10/15 (like Scoles).
