Not sure how Darielle King and Ronika Stone wouldn't be Top 10 players... but I guess it depends on depth of class and this is a good one. Fitzmorris is top middle. Still think Lanier is a shoe-in for #1 - best potential point-scorer. Don't see many girls who can hit that hard and high with great shot selection. (Plus, she's more than a full year younger than her class - which bodes well for future development). Also some big "name" (either club or college) bias - a libero isn't going to make Top 10, and some of the "Next 10" players I'm seeing here play for successful club teams, but won't be Top 25 and will end up behind some talent from lesser clubs who will be knocking on the door for Top 10/15 (like Scoles). This is why I stressed "guess" and only listed girls I've seen on multiple occasions. Morgan Hentz is a difference maker and deserves to be Top 10. There's a reason she is a full scholarship Libero at a perennial Top 10 like Stanford. She is ridiculously good. Doesn't score a lot of points, but prevents her competition from scoring what would be easy points against her peer group. We put so much emphasis on scoring points. Hitting percentage is a better indicator. Some "scorers" also make more errors, which are opponent points. Who is the best volleyball player? In the 2016 class it's Kathryn Plummer. She scores a high percentage of her teams points (kills, blocks, aces) and assists on many of the others. Lanier is best Hitter. Stivrins probably best Middle (Fitzmorris better volleyball player. She plays six rotations and impactful all the way around). Oleksak best Setter (benefactors Lanier, Stivrins, Johnson, Spahn, et all). Hentz best Libero. Like Lanier; Plummer, Stivrins, Hentz are all young for their class. Congratulations to them all and looking forward to seeing them develop into future AA's.

Agree 100% These girls aren't even 6 rotation players. Lanier, Strivins and Fitzmorris! Six rotation players are the most talented clearly!!

I think Mary Lake is the best libero in the 2016 class. She was one of only TWO liberos in prepvolleyballs top 50 recruited juniors and first team dandy lions..Well earned and so underrated...definitely the best in 16s last year.. Shes in 18s this year as a 16 year old

Interesting to see that Penn State doesn't have any "top" commitments in 2016.

Interesting to see that Penn State doesn't have any "top" commitments in 2016. Penn state seems to recruit in cycles. They lose two impact players in whitney and Courtney in 15, but their insanely talented 2014 class can replace those players.

For those that have seen her play, how does Kaylin Korte stack up in this OH class? Thanks.

Interesting to see that Penn State doesn't have any "top" commitments in 2016. International PSU has international players coming in for 2015. Do they also have 2016 international players lined up?
