It's all so hypothetical it's hard to argue who would win what. Depth, I don't know, there's a lot of depth in the middle and OPP in '13 class and a lot of these players will be or already had trained with the national team. The class does seem weaker in OH though, maybe much like the '16 class. Paige Tapp will be an AA this year, imo. It's all there for her. I don't think many posters would side with the 2013 lineup that you had in comparison to the other year lineups that I posted. They just don't have the backcourt to match up against the best of the other classes. you mean like the backcourt that has Morey in your '11 class? ;-)

IMO, there's no way Iosia makes top 10. This class is not very deep at the setter position. It's basically Kylie Miller and everyone else. A year ago I said Fitzmorris would be #1, but now I think it'll be Plummer. There's so much hype surrounding her. My top ten is Plummer, Fitzmorris, Haggerty, Lanier, Stivrins, Miller, Keefe, King, Pittman, and Milana. I have not seen enough of Michaela Keefe to put her in my top 10 but this is an interesting choice Chisovnik, nonetheless. I think that she is one of the most athletic players on this class, but she's not as polished as Lanier or Haggerty. She will be an interesting recruit for a Stanford team whicj will be loaded by 2016 with key returnees and of course with Plummer, Fitz, Hentz and Gray. In my wildest guess, Keefe will be in the 15-30 range when the senior aces comes out this September.

She could be #1 in the nation but not sure she wants it.

I don't think Iosia is lazy. Its just that she has such a calm demeanor on the court that it may seem to the spectators that she is lazy and does not care about the team. She is a really hard worker and will do great at Hawaii.

It's hard to imagine how anyone could become a top setter in her class nationally by being "on the lazy side." Stretches the meaning of the phrase. I'm sure there are fairer ways to put it.

Well, right or wrong, it is a common refrain within the SoCal volleyball community. People tend to hate on the people that outshine them. Iosia is a state champion and two time National Age Group Player of the year, and right now playing on the Samoan National Team. She must be doing something right...

American Samoa (there's a difference). At any rate, I like Norene (who I've known since she was a grommie) - poised, smooth, and just has a great feel for the game. My only point is that the OP's comments didn't didn't just come out of the blue. But as you said, she's certainly doing more than alright.

If other players project higher than her then they will, regardless of her motivation.

When does this list come out? August or September? The 2015 Senior Aces list came out around September 15, 2014. It is always interesting to see who the top ones are.
