I see Cal and USC improving drastically They could hardly get worse than they did last year. I see USC no higher than 8, maybe 7.

Interesting that Inky is not on the list of pre-season all-PAC players. Obviously all the coaches believe she won't be playing this year, because nothing else would keep her off that list. I think it's pretty common knowledge, especially in those circles, that her injury was season-ending.

I just hope it doesn't end up eventually being career ending, I am in awe when I watch her play. My two cents, Washington and Oregon should be flipped.

Inky is really fun to watch... Blocking wise and hitting wise. Her athleticism and how much she has improved since high school is something special I hope she recovers. Even if she doesn't return in 2016 I hope she is able to pursue a national team and professional career

That pre-season team consists of 3 players from the state of Texas, but only 2 from the state of California (and they both suit up for Washington); that has to be an all-time low . . .

Interesting ASU voted second but only one all conference selection. The sum of the parts is better than the individual talent?

2015 Pac12
1. Stanford No longer undefeated w/o Inky. Best talent space***** 2. Oregon Balanced attack, lost the least talent 3. ASU This is the year?? Bailey is the key 4. UW young, talented, No Jmac, No Vansant space**** 5. UCLA No Lowe, Will surprise, low expectations, Setter? 6. USC 2014 issues, Bricio, No Ebony, Mick motivated

They lost Simpson but still have a lot from last year

Interesting ASU voted second but only one all conference selection. The sum of the parts is better than the individual talent? Probably split some votes. Not a clear #2 on the team. Probably should be BreElle Bailey (and she'll need to have an all-conference year for ASU to finish #2), but the sophomore slump definitely hit her hard last year. I'm actually most surprised Crissy Jones didn't make the preseason team. She hit like .300 in conference last year.

2015 PRESEASON ALL-PAC-12 WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL TEAM PLAYER, TEAM POS. HT. YR. HOMETOWN Adora Anae, UTAH OH 6-1 So. Laie, Hawai’i Alexis Austin, COLO^ OH 6-2 So. Merete Lutz, STAN^ MB 6-8 So. Houston, Texas Mary-Kate Marshall, OSU^ OH 6-1 So. Coppell, Texas Lillian Schonewise, CAL MB 6-3 Sr. Papillion, Neb. Penina Snuka, ARIZ^ S 5-6 Jr. Gilbert, Ariz. Cassie Strickland L 5-8 Sr. Huntington Beach, Calif. Lianna Sybeldon, WASH^ MB 6-1 Sr. Folsom, Calif. California is supposed to have the most volleyball talent in the country, but the best conference in that part of the country picks their 14 best players and has more of them from Arizona (3) than from California (2), and of the two players FROM California, neither of them play their college volleyball IN California. Anyone else find that interesting?

Interesting ASU voted second but only one all conference selection. The sum of the parts is better than the individual talent? I love Macey Gardner. I'm surprised her arm is still attached. She has carried a serious load the past 3 years.
