Because anonymous parents usually means just one parent pretending to speak for the group. If your kids are scared of the coach they should be going to the AD directly, not mom and dad. In this day of technology, I'm sure someone would have caught this on camera by now if it were as rampant and out of control as the letter makes it out to be.

Ouch, it doesn't matter any more that it was anonymous. It is public now. Add to that the story has been updated and it is getting worse... "Razorback Athletics is looking into allegations, made in a letter addressed to the Razorback athletic director, that volleyball coach Robert Pulliza emotionally and verbally abuses his players. Kevin Trainor, associate athletic director for public relations, emailed an official Razorback Athletic statement confirming that they received the letter demanding Pulliza’s resignation, and the department has “initiated an inquiry into the allegations.” Because the review is ongoing, the department will not comment further until the process is complete, Trainor said to The Arkansas Traveler. The letter outlines 17 bulleted complaints, some of which pinpointing specific instances when the coach was an, “outright intimidating bully.” The letter’s source(s), signed “extremely concerned Razorback parents,” has not been identified, but graduates and two senior volleyball players have validated the letter’s contents. Seniors Monica Bollinger and Chanell Clark-Bibbs both said that they did not know who sent the letter but agreed with each of its points." www.uatrav.com/sports/article_dbc71d84-9ed0-11e5-9704-af372b91d857.html

I don't disagree with you, but now two seniors stand up and say yep it's true - that's damning. Maybe their parents are the authors, IDK; but I'll be amazed If Robbie survives.

I'll tell you why. Bunn Is a good friend of mine. Good underclassman, great brecruiting class and a new facility next year. Make a change and you look great as an admin. When they succed, eff the previous staff.

For those of you who jumped to the defense of the coach and suggested that I am just a disgruntled parent I say Ha, and I told you so. Perhaps I am a parent, perhaps I am a current or past player, perhaps I am an old coach or perhaps I am just a friend of the progeam. It does't matter much who I am. The facts are still the facts: 8 years, losing record and over 60% attrition rate of freshman recruits and assistant coaches...come on you can't really think Ben and Angie left Iowa which was closer to home, to go to Arkansas for 1 year only. They left before they had secured permanent employment...Roobie can no longer hide behind those lame excuses.

Treated anonymous accusations with caution before judging is more likely. If you want to present your case for a coach on the hot seat, you're going to have to sounds less like a person with an axe to grind if you want to be taken seriously. A low post count didn't help your cause either. Regardless, it's out in the open and verified by exiting seniors. Minus your childish opening, that post alone would have been enough to make an argument.

no axe to grind, just an interested party watching from afar -there have been rumblings around the Arkansas program for some time. There is plenty of smoke. Whether there is fire I am sure will come out soon -since they have the school newspaper reporting every detail that comes out, hard to think it will just go away. there are probably plenty of these situations across the country in all sports.
I think the bigger question is a generational thing - Millennial's aren't going to put up with ranting and raving, cussing and feeling unappreciated on the volleyball court or maybe better said the crazy overprotective parents aren't. It is a fine line between toughness and over the top. If what is being said about him is true, its over the top. You do that in the workplace and you are fired your first day. Tough, mean, unprofessional, cussing, abusive coaches are on the way out in my opinion. Toughness and accountability are different than demeaning, cussing at a player, calling names, verbal abuse, etc. I'm not a fan of the PC society we seem to live in now, but if you call me a Weak B*tch on a regular basis, I'd prob try to do something about it too.

nice positive piece about the good things happening in the Arkansas program. posted 3 hours ago...is this the university's way of saying despite the players concern's, we are behind our coach - or the coach trying to get something positive out there to counteract the elephant in the room? Seems like odd timing to post a brag piece considering the allegations...just my observation I guess. www.arkansasrazorbacks.com/player-development-leads-to-program-accolades/
