"The kid they ended up serving to, they wanted nothing to do with at the beginning of the match."

Shef post-match:
"we didn't get a lot of team play in this week at practice, so we expected to be rusty. We showed some toughness though. We got blocked off the court. Lauren started us off in game 2 with tough serves." We just kept getting cleaner as the match went on."
Called UNC a superior athletic team. Williams improved as match went on. Nelly played fantastic. At the end of game 1, they started to attack UNC's libero.

"Minnesota players just came and I thought they were waving at me so I waved back, but there are gopher fans right behind me, so they're looking at me like 'get away from me badger'"

Nice win for Badgers. UNC doesnt look like the team I at least thought they would be. It's a long season, but not the start I am sure they were thinking about.

I wonder what they focused on this week in practice if not playing together! As the connections last week were very off.
I'm glad we improved each set, stats wise. Lot of areas to improve in though and it's exciting.
i don't think we ran a 32 all match with Gillis or Bates, right? I know Duello came out of the middle at least once.

So what I really liked was the toughness when we weren't clicking well in the beginning. That hard nosed quality was not there against WKU. What I like less is that we seemed to let up a bit after taking a large lead in the 2nd. Maybe it was the law of averages working itself out, but it is worrisome to let a team back into a set like that.

I'm going to bow out here. Lots of people who are much better at this than I am. Good luck! Thanks for checking in. We will make you an honorary Badgerbuddy. Ok, guys, I leave and have no access, and the Badgers win, I'll take it!

Poor UNC, they scheduled like Illinois a few years back. Their blocking is fantastic. At this rate the ACC is going to seem easier than pre-conference.

Taylor Morey with 20 digs. (Yawn...) ;-) Morey, the gorilla barrel? With respect to KPS comments, I think it's also a hint of "we got lucky." 11 stuffs against the Badgers in a set and a half.
