The poor MEAC and SWAC really should have a series of matches with each other, and then commence with conference play. What are the biggest surprises on the undefeated/defeated list? (trying to adjust for cupcake schedules on the undefeated side) I'm going with Michigan, Syracuse, UMES. On the other side, Colgate, LIU-Brooklyn (this is without studying the schedules too much) I have to agree on UMES, but why you are surprised on Syracuse and Michigan? As for MEAC and SWAC, they need to schedule some matches with NEC and MAAC teams. This should help to get out of winless situation for at least half of them. LIU is surprise and not really. When your HC bolted out and moved away in the middle of the Spring training this is not a good sign. They will get their wins in conference play.

LIU hosts very interesting tournament this weekend. Syracuse, Arizona (13), Ohio State (15). Arizona is 6-0 and Syracuse is 5-0 so far, as well as LIU is 0-4.

USC Upstate and Valparaiso play today so somebody is coming off the list. Any other match ups? Winthrop and Chicago State, with Winthrop getting the win. Winthrop then doubled the number on the wins column against Georgia Southern.

Good day for the MEAC, Coppin State and Norfolk State get their first wins. That leaves just four MEAC teams on the winless list. On the bright side Hampton (0-9) won its first set of the season. Go Pirates!
