How many hours per week during the season does the average B1G player spend working out, practicing, watching film, playing, meeting with coaches, etc? Basically, how much of their day is spent on volleyball versus school and other activities?

Lauren is such an incredible student of the game. She seeks this out, the video sessions and opportunity to review and analyze and plan. Sheff said that she was blowing up his phone this summer with ideas she got while watching Team USA compete. She's a very smart kid. So impressive.

I remember making dinner after the match and the tv was just left on the BTN. I could hear a little bit of what was being said. Considering the edge PSU has over Wisconsin, I'm not sure what the purpose of the documentary was, but I digress. Penn State owns everyone...why focus on them at all?!?!

I just got a chance to watch it. I thought it was well done, even if targeted to an audience not that familiar with volleyball (that was my impression anyway). I was expecting to see myself in there because I was at the match and behind UW bench in red, and sure enough, I did in a few spots. It will be interesting to see if LC does ever get to play for team USA. LC was invited to play with team USA this summer...the real team...not just practice. She was a sophomore at the time. She'll be there barring death.

Odd ball question, so maybe some of the Wisc faithful can help me. In the opening scenes we see Wisky arrive in Madison in a single engine charter. The plane appeared to hold maybe 12 people? Did they travel with a smaller squad/staff for that tournament or was there another plane that wasn't pictured? Just seemed an awfully small aircraft for what I would think would be a near 20 person travel party.

Nobody wants to see the the Wisconsin VB version of We Are Marshall.

Thanks, based on knowledge of aircraft, that just didn't look right.

It all depends on the length of the journey and which aircraft are available. I believe they took a single, larger plane out to Penn State later that week and will do the same for Rutgers & Maryland this weekend.

Where is the B10 network located? I'm curious...
This was a really great "Behind the Scenes"...and they spent a lot of money on it. Two different crews, two different locations, numerous cameras, with a very very quick turnaround. that's not easy or cheap. Producers and Editors must have been working LONG hours. Usually, it's pretty hard to make an hour of TV for under 100k, unless it's all done in-house.
Really great job, hope they do more!

Considering the edge PSU has over Wisconsin, I'm not sure what the purpose of the documentary was, but I digress. I would suggest one of three things based on this post: 1. You miss the point of what these type of behind the scenes show are about. What the purpose was couldnt have been presented any clearer. 2. you're joyless 3. You don't like the teams that were covered. The second one = so perfect.
