Did anyone watch the behind the scenes look at the Penn State-Wisconsin match, that aired on BTN Wednesday night, September 30? Would like to hear your comments.
Thought it was interesting to see how the teams interacted with each other in their personal lives and as teammates. Good profiles of both coaches, particularly Sheffield.
It's obvious that college athletics takes a great deal of time and dedication. Also nice to see that the women also have time for community service.
All that was missing was some idea of what their academic life was like.

There are couple of comments on the WI/ILL match thread. I'm glad you set up a separate thread. I'll be watching it tonight.

I watched it, and I thought it was extremely well done. Is the idea that all of the teams in the B1G will be profiled?

I saw a lot of balls dropping during the PSU portion of their practice. I'm sure that will go over well.

I remember making dinner after the match and the tv was just left on the BTN. I could hear a little bit of what was being said. Considering the edge PSU has over Wisconsin, I'm not sure what the purpose of the documentary was, but I digress.

Russ Rose is one of my favorites. If there was a Russ Rose app for my iPad, I'd purchase it -- so long as it's in the $2.99 range. It could be something as simple as video feed of Rose in practice and footage of him uttering his one-liners.

I watched it and I was highly entertained by that. It was nice to be able to see the behind the scenes of what players and coaches think before a big match. I hope they continue to produce more of these.

Actually, I wish there really was an APP that provided video feed of coaches during practice (and other times) as well as footage of them uttering words of "wisdom."
