IF Southern Cal beats Washington on Sunday guess who could be #1? Pointless to predict until after the UW @ USC match. Or you'd have to make two entirely different predictions. I have no idea what you are talking about.

My Top Ten Prediction 1. USC 2. Texas 3. Penn St. 4. Arizona State 5. Washington 6. Nebraska 7. Ohio State 8. Hawai'i 9. Stanford 10. Kansas Why would Hawaii overtake a Stanford team who lost on the road to a team ranked above them? and also in the same week they got a road win against #14?

Why would Hawaii overtake a Stanford team who lost on the road to a team ranked above them? and also in the same week they got a road win against #14? Because they will..... well obviously they *could*, but that would be antithetical to how the AVCA poll usually operates. Teams rarely drop for losing to teams ranked above them and they rarely ever get passed over by a team that did nothing. And rest assure that beating two teams with a combined 6-25 record is surely doing nothing.

I say: 1. USC 2. Texas 3. Penn State 4. Arizona State 5. Washington 6. Nebraska 7. Stanford 8. Ohio State 9. Illinois 10. Hawaii Now you have Stanford moving up for losing a game??? Even though the loss was to a highly ranked team, no one should move up, let alone stand pat after losing. Stanford most likely will end up somewhere in the top ten at the end of the season as they have a very formidable team. But, they should not be ranked in top ten for this week.

My Top Ten Prediction 1. USC 2. Texas 3. Penn St. 4. Arizona State 5. Washington 6. Nebraska 7. Ohio State 8. Hawai'i 9. Stanford 10. Kansas Why would Hawaii overtake a Stanford team who lost on the road to a team ranked above them? and also in the same week they got a road win against #14? Stanford has 4 losses, including a loss to a team that is currently unranked. it's pretty simple actually.
