I can't wait too! I just hope Dave starts Kendra! He did say in his interview lastnight that she isn't ready. So it looks like Kendra will start. Dave just needs to let Kendra run the offense. She did great last night. I don't know but everytime Hawaii plays Long Beach it's always a fight til the end, and there I am a nervous wreck!

Rich history and if I'm not mistaken it was like 4-5 years in a row in the early 90's where the Beach eliminated Hawaii from the NCAA tournament. It was nice that Hawaii returned the favor to them Beach in 2000 and 2006 (at the Pyramid no less). I'm looking for a good match.

it's great to see Savanah improve every game. I think her progression at the libero spot will help the team all season long...love seeing Claire playing with such confidence

Or a Hawaii domination, but with good volleyball played by Hawaii. I hate when Hawaii plays down to the level of their opponent. although they destroy them in the scores, it's much closer than it should be. I don't expect that from playing the Beach, so I hope Hawaii dominates, but it's because they play good volleyball all around.

There are times when they're leading in a match and they start to lose focus, and the other team catches up making the match a lot closer than it actually is...I hate that. They should show no mercy til the end hahaha, but that's just me.

Kahakai goal of making at least 15 digs, Greeley having 3.0 kpset, Olevau .350%, etc. Or as a team, keep each opponent under 15 points.

Previous years they have but nothing that stands out so far this year. They seem to remain focused when down. Very much enjoying this team!

That team shouldn't have won a set against the Wahine but they did.

I guess I should have emphasized that they haven't played down as often as in previous years.

To be honest I didn't catch much of the match since it reaired but it looked like in the third set that I felt some sort of tension on the court. Idk y but it looked like NikkTaylor was over the match and Kendra was trying to get her team to be more focused. Hope they don't play like that tonight, and i'am def watching this game tonight. Hoping for a sweep so that our women have a chance of pushing it up on the pools since Arizona State got swept by Washington State today.

The set lost to Bakersfield was the last. Shoji talked about that (playing down to the competition) and since then they have swept the last 5 matches. When their level of playing gets complacent, Shoji is seen standing and getting after his players. We have seen this happening since the Santa Barbara match.

Though I think Hawaii will remain stagnant unless Stanford also loses. Ohio state will leap frog Hawaii after beating Illinois and Northwestern.....

Illinois is very overrated, and people still have them very high on their lists. I think they are a year away from being a really good team.

I forgot to mention this last night but did anyone think Jeff Stork looked like he was going to have a heart attack or stroke? His face was red often and he didn't look healthy to me. I'm not kidding.
